You bought zte instead of huawei series. Can't be unlock by code

Good morning femi, I bought this modem n it is a universal modem but when I insert mtn Sim in it, it doesn't work, it will just be searching and after it will disconnect but Airtel network is working with it, could there b any prob with it or is there any internal settings I will need to do on d platform for it to work? . pls help a brother.

Seems you bought one of the fake hsdpa universal modem. It ll only work with Airtel cos the signal strength is quite strong in your area. You can switch network mode to 2g/edge and manage it like that with other network

If you flash it back, you might damage the modem. Just download the app set up separately

Couldn't get the set up alone. You have to update the firmware. Go to http://www.ztedevice.com/support/

scroll down and enter country, category and model...........it ll take you to the download page
