They need to Carry out all the types of test on them. For example, a policeman can be mentally stable but can shoot sporadically
If he has malaria!!

Police is the same in all part of the world, for we to think that of Nigeria is the worst, total overhauling of the entire system is what they need.

Like seriously, they needed to have done this long time ago. Most of our policemen on the road are worst than those patients at Aro or Yaba left. Imagine a policeman wearing a slippers with his uniform and carrying a gun?

I've seen some taking bottle of Guinness (about 6 big bottles) on duty, (though in a bar) and still carrying a gun. Some, their uniform is worst than mechanic uniform.

Therefore, our police institution needs to be reform and clean out. A better police system will uphold the justice system in the country.

THE PEOPLE THAT NEED THIS TEST FIRST IS THE TOP OFFICERS. A LOT OF MISCRANTS ARE THERE, COVERING THEIR NEFERIOUS ACTS WITH BIG RANKS.
THE ARE THE ONES PUSHING THE JUNIOR ONES TO DO ALL SORT OF RUBISH.
WHAT THEY ARE AFTER IS MONEY NOT SERVICE.
ALL THE POLICE MEN U SEE ON THE ROAD EXTORTING MONEY ARE WORKING TOOLS FOR TOP OFFICERS, BECAUSE THEY GIVE THEM TARGET WHICH THE MUST MEET.
AFTER THE SHIFT THE WHOLE BLAME ON JUNIOR OFFICERS. KILL THE HEN THAT LAY THE BAD EGGS & THE JOB WILL BECOME HONOURABLE.

Police arent the same all over the world please.The ones from Nigeria takes the cake when it comes to corruption,indiscipline, and outright abuse of authority and power.
Im of the opinnion this so called test is just a façade. If the police system in Nigeria be revamped,it must start from the top down the rank and file.
Likewise the Acts and Decrees that make them constitute public nuisance be readdressed and possibly repealed.

AIG, please also include DRUG and ALCOHOL test o. 90% of your officers are drunk while on duty and we have recorded so many cases of accidental discharge from their guns which was bought with our tax payers money.

does that mean because the gun was given to them they should behaving irrationally. my brother those guys are just something else especially when they are on the road.

Not just mental test alone, Jealousy test should be included cos these so called police gets angry when they see you cruising a car, using big phone or even found out you're a University graduate. They will call you a thief for no reason
