This thread is strictly for those who applied for the above scholarship scheme. it is a medium that will help facilitate the dispensation of information in regards to the NNPC/Total E&P 2016/17 Scholarship scheme to those who are interested and eligible.

Total Upstream Nigeria Limited (TUPNI), in pursuance of its Corporate Social Responsibility, is pleased to announce the commencement of 2016/2017 NNPC/TOTAL National Merit Scholarship application. The scholarship
Selection Test conducted on Saturday December 3, 2016, at eleven (11) Centers across the Country. Annually, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation
(NNPC), and Total Upstream
Companies in Nigeria (TUCN):Total Exploration & Production
Nigeria Limited (Total E&P Nig Ltd) and Total Upstream
Nigeria Limited (TUPNI), together with their venture partners, award scholarships to deserving Nigerian students in the tertiary institutions in the country. The programme is aimed at promoting
academic
excellence and quality manpower development in the Country. This is one of the many ways TOTAL demonstrates its commitment to the educational
development of Nigerian students. It is a part of TOTAL’s rich Corporate Social Responsibility.

Eligibility To qualify for consideration, the applicant MUST: 1. Be a Registered FULL TIME undergraduate in a recognized Nigerian University 2. Be a certified 100 or 200 level student at the time of application 3.Show proof of SSCE or Equivalent Certificate. 4. Show proof of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) score. 5. Show proof of Admission letter from the University and Matriculation Number 6.Show proof of A-level or
Equivalent Certificate
(for direct entry students) PLEASE NOTE: Students with
less than 200
score in
UTME need
not apply Students with
less than 2.50
CGPA of 5-
point scale,
or equivalent 300 level
students and
above need
not apply Current
beneficiaries
of similar
awards from
any other
Company or Government
Agency need
not apply

Are you sure it is out cos on their website they said it will be out by October as we shld be checking d newspapers for the site to be used,as u can see there is no deadline to the application which is a pure indication that it is not yet officially out.

the deadline is nov 4. Its on their website.

pls oo Total 2016 scholarship just came out, and i want to apply as well as apply for Saplet own. will i enter gbege(pproblem) since both are oil and gas scholarship. thanks

Hello house. I just entered the 2016/2017 as a 200level student but i will apply as a 100level student since some of my sets in other uni's are yet to finish. i school in UNN. anyway where was i yes erm i would like to know am i uploading any result for my CGPA to their site because i do not have a complete CGPA since my 2nd semester result hasnt been released yet and my first semester isnt complete online on our portal yet. thanks for the quick response in advance. cheers

Well u dd d ryt tin by usin 100lvl cuz u dnt av a GPA 4 yr 2...in regards to ur result, it s very important dt u provide ur score n a scannd printd copy of ur statement of result as it wl b used to confirm ur initially stated score...ur result is one of d fundamntl criteria dt fortifies ur eligibility so i advice u meet ur exam officer n explain to him. meanwhile, if tinz doesnt work out, n ur currnd GPA is on 3.00 or above, try n apply b4 d deadline.

yes it is ongoing there is another thread of the scolarship of saplet. all you need is ur olevel result, jamb result and passport and you fill in some personal details.

Exactly the same situation here.
Since you don't have a cgpa or a 200lv result, just put your first semester g.p and continue the application.

I didn't too, I registered with another email and still didn't. No matter the browser, whether Firefox, Chrome etc. And it is impossible to login self. We still have enough time since the deadline is 4th November. I will try it again two weeks from now hopefully the website would be ok by then.
