be slow is a matter of your area.. Glo is very fast in ughelli my area.....

i have stayed in 12 cities here in nigeria, Glo is the fastest.

r.I.p to BlackBerry phones and there sub waiting for mtn and airtel to follow....glo d current data slayer in 9ja...d speed is super fast here in convenant ota Ogun state.

Glo is only responding to the promo run by MTN.(100% data bonus on both old and new customers when they buy new phones). Buy 1.5gig data and get extra for free for just N1,000.Isn't it obvious that glo's N1,000 data plan is 3.2gig and is applicable to all her subscribers?
Other networks would respond when they see reactions from their subscribers but if I were them, I would act fast before it's too late

Still not gonna win me over. I get 3gb for 1,000 on Mtn (at least for the next 5 months with device bonus) with speed 6 times faster than glo. And I can decide to upgrade my sim to Mtn 4g for free and still get 3gb for 1,000 and speed 60 times faster than glo. So who is fooling who? MTN are giving far better value than money here while our own glo are using 1860 technology. Monkey yato si chimpanzee.

You must be referring to Airtel because the glo I have been using for more than two years has the accurate data consumption. Glo take it over

From my observations, other networks don't really care about the cheap data plans offered by Glo. MTN and Etisalat are those in the real competition. I can recall when Mtn introduced 1,000Naira for 1.5gb, Etisalat came up with theirs within a week.

It is the normal 1k for 1.5gb plan. They will give ur 1.5gb plus additional 1.5gb bonus. U can get 7gb for 2k and 20gb for 5k. Just dial *131# and follow the steps.

I just did 2k and they gave me 7.5gb

Etisalat won't be happy about this with their expensive data plans.

Etisalat are very stingy, no decent promos and their network is not even fast. Overall Mtn have the fastest network by coverage area and their plans are still cheaper than etisalat.

Somebody pls tell glo I said it is not by quantity but quality

By the time Glo increase their spreed drastically in most cities, they will seat up because what stopping some persons from joining Glo is their network speed.
