Personally, I do not wash anything before the first use.

Some of these baby clothes (irrespective of brand/price tag) ain't loyal. You wash some after the first wear and they either fade, shrink, lose shape or run colour. So even if they are going to turn out something else after washing, I have that personal satisfaction that it has been worn already by my baby. For every new outfit my son puts on, I take a picture .

Happy independence day to my senior colleagues here o!
I came to hail una specially cos today I experienced a tiny tiny bit of motherhood.
No be beans o . Hmm

Why I say this is cos my neighbor who is also a family friend came to drop her two toddlers for me to watch while she dashed to the market. I swept my parlour n kitchen like 3x, the one and half year girl refused to keep on her diaper so I mopped urine 3x, cleaned poo from my floor 1x, washed poo from her bum 2x, talked and shouted n smiled and petted and fed food. All within 3hours.
Hian...Na real practical I do today. I was glad to do it o but I began wondering how mothers cope. Esp those who have no helps or relatives around. Chai. I couldn't even wash my dishes cos I was afraid they might spoil something in the parlour or tumble down our balcony if I take my eyes off them for too long. I only managed to cook rice within that time!

I gat new respect for we mothers oooo. Fathers no dey see one third of what we face at home with our precious LOs.

I m 37+weeks,. I had to even stop my long walks ooo cos I get more braxton Hicks when I walk and yesterday I got contractions more than once,so I m take things easy.

Teamie, don't worry ok. We are in this togeda. God will make delivery easy and swift for us *hugs*

Thanks Alphahandmaiden. I wasn't on any fertility treatment. I had just registered with this fertility clinic to start treatment. The only thing we had done was that he gave us antibiotics to treat infection after he saw DH result. I was meant to come back on the day of my first flow only for me to discover I was pregnant already. So he placed me on 6 weeks injection, folic acid and this big blood capsules. When I asked the nurses what the injection was, they only said it will aid the baby to stay. I tink its part of their routine. So was sport two weeks over the weekend. I called my sister who took me to the doctor she has been using. She is also nurse as well. The lady told me I don't need those big capsules for now. it could contribute to the spotting. That I need lots of water, veggies, fruits.

You should just try to take things easier than you would normally. Avoid eating pineapples or unripe pawpaw and potash. They can trigger contractions.

Ok. Good. Since you havent started the injections, it could anything including stress.

Try to take things easy. It is not unusual to spot during pregnancy, as long as you are not feeling any pain and its not like a proper gush of blood you will be fine and so will the baby.

Try not to worry, am sure when you go for your scan, it will show everything is fine.
