Paypal Still Not Allowing Nigerians To Receive Funds... Here Is What You Can Do by russianyuri(op): 11:29am On Oct 03, 2016
Below is a copied response email from Paypal customer service when I complained to them about not being able to withdraw my funds from Fiverr. Hope this helps somebody.

Meanwhile, if you are really passionate about paypal lifting this so-called ban from Nigeria. There is a petition on change.org currently going on. We just need 44 people(at this time) for paypal to consider this. Please visit https://www.change.org/p/paypal-let-nigerians-receive-funds-with-paypal to sign the petition.

"Dear xxxx,

I hope you are doing well today. My name is Rey from PayPal Customer Service. Thank you for your interest to receive payments using PayPal from fiverr.com. I'll be glad to clarify this for you.

At this time, the receive money feature and add bank in relation is still unavailable in Nigeria due to our compliance with your local financial regulations. There's no exact timeframe yet on when the service would be available. Let me assure you that we will contact you as soon as this feature becomes available so that you could use it right away. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

In the meantime, kindly contact fiverr.com to arrange other payment options that are available for you to use such as bank transfers, check or money order.

Alternatively, if you maintain an address and banking/card details in a country where the Receive-Money service is available, you can create a PayPal account under that said country and use it to receive your payments. You may create a PayPal account under your neighboring African countries such as South Africa, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Botswana or Mozambique.

Let me assure you that you can definitely send international payments for business or personal use for free using your xx40 MasterCard.

We'll be glad to hear from you if you need clarification or assistance. Please don't hesitate to email us again. You can also call us at +1-402-517-4519 (U.S. telephone number) Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM local Nigerian time.

Thank you for choosing PayPal. Have a great day!

Sincerely,

Rey

I'm surprised that people are experiencing that. I think i'm being treated differently by PayPal because I received fund directly into my Nigerian account very recently. Although it was a payment reversal
