Because it has 3 or 4gb of ram doesn't mean it has the same specs as flagships from Samsung, htc, lg or Sony. There are more to a phone than the number of ram. First u can't compare snapdragon 820 to any mtk out there.

Also u can't compare a qhd display with 1080p used in these devices. And Samsung use AMOLED panels which are better. Also the camera is different. Samsung use f1.7 aperture while we don't know what is used on tecno phantom 6. Nevertheless whether these extras justify the more than 3 times price difference is another thing. The phantom 6 and 6 plus are great phones though.

But do you know why apple refuses equip their phones with above HD and just recently FHD displays? Or Oneplus's reason for sticking with FHD on the Oneplus 3? Anything above FHD is not discernible with the naaked eye and its just gimmicky and will only take a toll on the battery.
On aperture, who cares if its 1.7 or 1.8 or 2.0, except of course camera aficionados.

And yes fhd and qhd might not be too difderent to the naked eyes, but when u use ur phone for vr then u will clearly see the difference. Even qhd is still not perfect for vr but a lot better than fhd. Also samsung screens stand out,. When u place an s7 and one plus 3 side by side, u will notice the difference. Trust me if apple had made iOS open source and other oems start making iOS phones with qhd, apple will have no choice but to comply. Good business on their part for not making it open source.

Also that 2 phones have the same megapixel doesn't mean they will take the same pictures. Look at the galaxy s6 or even s5... It takes far better pictures than camon c9, u don't need to be a photo aficionado to notice that. Why did Samsung put a 12mp camera on the galaxy s7 and note 7 while the older galaxy s6 had 16mp? Does that mean they are regressing? Hell no. S7 still takes better pictures. That's because they used s better lens and softwsre, and it clearly shows higher megapixel doesn't necessarily mean better pictures.

Agreed. You need above FHD to enjoy VR, but VR isn't mainstream yet.

Also Agreed, I totally understand that more Mega pixels doesn't equate better pictures.

I actually witnessed it at 3CHub in Ikeja. I was surprised too but then while engaging someone in a conversation, He was like who wouldn't wanna try this phone out. Having been a loyal tecno fan, he didn't need much convincing. People dropping comments on twitter are also saying positive things especially about the slimness. Getting it is a must

Let's say the truth, these phones are actually worth the hype. Hardship or not, money dey where e dey.

Is the phone worth the Price? Reading the Features shows that it has same Specs with the other big brands that sell their phone for more than 400k.

Need I say more. If you've handled the device. You'll be convinced. Tecno engineers did a really great job on this phantom series. More reason why I'm not even surprised it has broken the preorder record in Nigeria according to an article I read on naij.

Recession or not, people appreciate good stuffs. And these phones are nice gadgets. Good value for money , high tech specs etc. Kudos to Tecno for this.

Actually s6 camera and camon c9 camera are not in the same level, the s6 is far far beter. S5 camera is also better especially in low light. See the problem with tecno and infinix camera is they are very very poor in low light while they only focus on selfie camera and outdoor. I have an infinix hot s which uses the same lens as camon c9, thought camon c9 camera is slightly better. The camera quality is nothing to write home about especially in low light... no way near s5 not to talk of s6. I also have a friend that has camon c9, while images are nice outdoors, it seriously suffers in low light where samsung phones shine. Also when u start zooming these images u will notice a huge difference.

The phones are quite slim tho. It was a step in the right direction for the brand. No wonder the success rate.

I wont lie, the reviews I've read online and the word of mouth from people around me is more than enough to convince one to go for it. It's quality that is affordable, it's not everyday you see stuffs like this. With these other brands you've called, yeah they are good as well but don't discredit the Tecno Brand, they are equally as big as the rest. Just my two cents sha, no need to fight, remove your hatred for the brand, I disliked them before cause of their chinko products but even me don realise say dem don improve like mad! Peace

Personally, I'll say it's worth it. The money is still much for a guy like me sha, but it's so worth it and you're right when you say other brab\nds cost way too much without necessarily having extra effects compared to this. Who wants to buy for me?

You are very correct bro. The Phantom 6, especially the 6+ has sepcs that will leave you wondering if this is the same Tecno that people were so ashamed to have. If I am blessed to have any of the phones (especially the BEAST), I'll be so proud
