The way the northerners are working tooth and nail against restructuring of Nigeria make one wonder what could be their reason

the thing dey worry me die.

They like the negative side of life.Eg
Suicide attack.

Killing innocent people.

Forcing minor into an early marriage.

Killing people who are oppose to Islam.

Cos they hate raw hardwork. They prefer softwork...

They oppressive Muslims among them are only relevant in the face of Slaves or infidels!

They are the owners of CORRUPTION!!! That's why they love power in order to steal and go scot free.

I pity the lives of those trained to repeat words like parrots that they themselves don't understand, in order to propagate stereotypes that don't hold water; only to expose their abject ignorance on the very subject they are attempting to discuss - just mere empty heads full of bitterness.

The reason is simple. Why didn't Goatluck Jonathan restructure Nigeria when he was in Aso Rock for 8 years as Veepee, Ag. Presido and Presido? Also, why didn't Olusegun Obasanjo restructure Nigeria when he was in Aso Rock for 8 years? The Southerners did not do it while they (Southerners) were there, they got kicked out and started screaming Restructure. Shout till Jesus comes, Sai Baba will never ever restructure Nigeria.

The Northern region has always had a somewhat central political structure. Western constitutional monarchy was complex enough to elect kings and chiefs by vote, the East was mostly a a group of autonomous communities, no actual record of electing community leaders but democratic none the less. The Northern region however had a complex feudal structure where the community leader was the central authority and everyone did whatever he decides. This has been translated to their modern application of democracy. Coupled with Hausa Fulani hegemony of the hundreds of tribal nationalities there, there lack of interest in Federalism is not so shocking.
