The House of Representatives has called on the
Federal civil service commission to, without further
delay, declare publicly, the number of vacancies
available and distribute some according to States in
accordance with the Federal character principles.
The call, made yesterday, follows a motion on the
urgent need to investigate the unwholesome
practices involving the Federal civil service
commission with respect to the on going recruitment
exercise announced by the commission, sponsored
by Hon. Henry Archibong and Mustapha Bala Dawaki.Hon. Archibong who expressed concern over the
inability of Nigerians to access the recruitment
portal, disclosed that the portal uploaded by the
Commission is non functional as unemployed
Nigerians have been unable to apply for various
positions.
“Thousands of qualified Nigerians have over the past
days been trying to apply for various positions
advertised by the commission via the portal but are
unable to due to an ineffective portal.
“By uploading a non functional recruitment portal,
the commission is deliberately denying thousands of
suitably qualified Nigerians who wish to contribute
their quota to the service of their fatherland through
gainful employment into the civil service, thereby
subjecting them to hardship.
The non functional portal according to him, “is a ploy
by the commission to come up with names of friend
and the children of the high and mighty in the society
as the only ones that applied for the employment
thereby depriving the children of the poor and the
Federal Government of willing and qualified hands to
move the country forward”.
The lawmakers noted that the action of the
commission is against the change agenda of the
present administration, principle of equity, justice,
fairness, transparency and above all, the principles of
federal character as enshrined in Section 14(3) and
(4) of the constitution.
The House also directed its Committee on Federal
Character to investigate the practice of the
commission and ensure a 24 hour accessibility of the
recruitment portal for intending applicants and
extend the deadline of the submission.

After filling d form, I tried submitting and was only getin white blank page or sometimes when I reload I get bad network connection or 500 error kini kini.....i kept reloading as many times as possible yet same tin .

I tried checking my portal and found out I already submitted more than 1 application for a vacancy. I did 3 different aplications, with 1 vacancy containing up to 6 or 7 different applications.

Tried deletin but cudnt, still showing blank page.

4 does that are trying 2 submit but kept seeing blank page n d rest, try checking your portal, u might hav submitted lots of application without knowing it.

Has any other person experienced this and pls wot can b done abt this?

Yimu. How will he or she know the submission is successful when there's no message given. They also know there's a possibility for multiple submission that's why there's a delete button.

I m telling you from experience. You will know your submission is successful when you visit "my portal"

In a situation whereby it's showing no entries found won't you be perplexed that it hasn't submitted and so you keep trying. Abi. Today is 6th and they said from 3rd,yet it's still showing no entries.

That's a different case.

This particular lady sees multiple application for same job id each time she check her portal and deleting them seems difficult.

We are saying the same thing. That means she was submitting consistently without any message from them and she has to delete because it can result to disqualification. The site is just crap.
They should have just asked for CVs and shortlist through that then give forms to thise shortlisted but when they are up to mischief they would use a cunny means to deceive Nigerians.

Pls, the fcsc is not connecting at all. Av tried to connect it times without number. Am I the only one experiencing that??.

Thank God I was very lucky and fortunate that my own went suscessfully on the second week the advert came out arnd 12:45am. But I am still praying seriously for the shortlisting

Please can anybody help me with all the means of identification required for registration. Some people said only national id card. For those that knows much about, how through is that?

The website is working now...I just applied now and I was also able to edit my application.

Yeah. they have finally recieved sense!
What they should have done from the start is what they have now done.... let us clap for them.
It is now a one page application and it worked well without issue.
The site is still a work in progress though as some of the fields show codes instead of User data when submitted application is viewed.
