A serious party that wants to win the coming election should be begging and seeking to reconcile the aggrieved members in order to ensure a united front and not this nonsense talk about anti party. Oyegun and his backers are taking the same arrogant path that led to the collapse of PDP, the outcome won't be different.

APC is only interested in rigging elections just like Edo state was rigged. They would intend to rig Ondo elections. Hence they are not interested in reconciling aggrieved members.

I have read so many comments about how Yoruba's are betrayals and why they should learn from the current crisis in APC not to trust and work with northerners again. Funny enough, nobody is talking about Oyegun's betrayal. Tinubu single handedly made Oyegun APC chairman. Oyegun stood no chance against Tom Ikimi but Tinubu stood his ground and Oyegun won. Ikimi angrily left the party in shame. So, why should Oyegun betray his benefactor?

Again, if aligning with the north is so bad, why is Oyegun aligning with northern cabal in APC to fight a southern brother, friend and benefactor. Is there no lessons for him to learn as well? It is no big deal for an Edo man to align with the northern cabal against a fellow southerner but it is always a taboo when a Yoruba man works with the north. Such double standard cannot bring any southern unity.

You seem to have forgotten the fact that not only does the south have a very strong electoral muscle in the land if they unite, but even if the north miraculously unite and back a northern candidate they still cannot win the election because of the 2/3 rule. You seem to have forgotten that the south can also realign and partner with others in the north who cannot wait to repay you for your perceived treachery against northern PDP leaders like Sambo, Lamido, Shema etc and will jump at the opportunity regardless of the rhetoric peddled by inconsequential online minions.

simple calculation :
north west : 7 states
north east : 6 states
total is 13

2/3 of 36 is 24.
36 - 13 is 23

so even if the whole south unite the best you can do is force a run off.

But we know what will happen.
The north will clear the north west and north east, win a lot of north central and some big heads from the south west will still vote for them. So they will win.

we are more influenced by our SE brothers because of d proximity of both region,than the SW and northerners,that are well distanced from us.,d igbos populate our major cities e.g porthacout more than d indegines..if you are staying in south south,you will know what I am saying...da can easily influence d indegines votes...
