Clamped Down On Judges - A Threat To Nigerias Democracy by basadenet(op): 5:05pm On Oct 08, 2016
It is a known fact that the present government on assumption of office promise to fight corruption to stand-still which is regarded as a good idea, however, the corruption-fighting machinery is now targeted solely at the perceived enemies of the government, the opposition members, including members of the public. One now wonders if this Government is actually fighting corruption or harassing innocent citizens.

Just yesterday we learnt from an online media platform that DSS operatives surrounded and gain access to Homes of some judges, namely Justice Nnamdi Dimgba, Adebiyi Ademola and Justice Muazu Pindiga..
Now in view of the above, don't you think this unpopular action is a threat to Nigeria's democracy?

There is no threat to any democracy.

Corrupt judges should be taken down. That is the hope of the Looters, they know they will always buy judges. This will make everybody to sit up and bring hope of the common man being able to get justice fairly and speedily.

I am not against arresting of any corrupt judges but the way and manner they go about is the issue. in a civilized world or in a democratic setting, the judges ought to have been invited and not unlawfully breaking into their homes, this potend a danger our democracy.

Corrupt judges are a threat to Nigeria. They force people to seek self-help when they make justice impossible to get.

I don't know if we're in a military Era but I'm damn sure we're not in a democratic setting.

The processes or procedures or steps taken to arrest anyone by the DSS team in this PMB's tenure have been very barbaric. That's all I can say.
