Good Morning.. I have 400 layers bird at 13 weeks..pls can you give me a guide on how to go about giving 3-1 vaccination for layers... I ask what it will cost to get it at where we got our feeds . The lady said it cost 15,500 . For the vaccination . Is she right? Thanks ... in total we have 1000Birds, 400 lays .. 550 broiler ... @13weeks. And 17weeks turkey.. they consume 1 bag of top feed daily .. is my feeding ok? Keep up the good work.. I notice some r small n not as big as other .

Gave lasota, haven missed the first lasota as well as being unable to administer on day 28. Though discovered they are not actually feeding well as they used to. Maybe I would have given them multivitamin and anticocci as brown poos have not seized ever since I noticed it. Hope for the best anyway... A newbie, my very first farm. The immune system of ur birds are down that's why the drugs are not responding , quickly get Amoprium mix with strong antibiotics like Dogxgen or NCO give 2 spoons to 4 litres to ur birds in the next 3 days then report back the situation

The 3 in 1 vaccine is usually administered using a diluant which comes with the vaccine and its given on the tigh muscle 0.5ml to a bird
The price depends on the vet some sell 12k while some 8k and 15k respectively so the price depends on the vet and the make is it india, china, isreal or usa
Then ur feeding is very poor
And ur broilers and layer can't be eating same feed @ 13wks ur broilers are supposed to be on finisher while layers will be on grower
Averagely ur 400 layers are supposed to be on 1 and 1/2 or 2 bags as the case maybe if not @ 24 wks they may not lay
And 550 brolers @ 13 weeks wao
If they manage 3bags a day then they must be starving and even ur supposed to be sellling them now and if manage feed the way u said they will not have weight

..you are really doing a great job. God will bless you . I wish I have time, I did love to help my fellow farmers especially those that are new in the business. Please I want to point out something. Its not good to mix any anti cocci with multivitamins especially the ones that contains folic acid. Folic acid is just like a fertilizer to the deadly protozoan. The disease may cause more harm when you mix anti cocci drugs with multivitamins. Thanks

Depends on ur anti cocci Most anti cocci contains vitamin u can check Emberzyn forte , Ember cox and then see for ur self though some anti cocci may not be compartible but the above mentioned are highly compartible see user manual for more detail

This broilers @ 13wks are not the best
U have past many vaccine programe but u can start from the tripple antigen for the pullet then where is ur location do u have feed millers or do u have farm support or Animalcare shop around U?

Good morning guys and boss neologe82 please I need your help my birds of 5 weeks are showing me cause for concern this morning I went to feed them I noticed one wasn't eating and I was hearing some form of noise coming from its throat and I touched the crop and I saw food were still inside and I noticed some of the birds were coughing and some of them there throat were making similar noise please I need your help

yes they come with vitamins but have you noticed they normally come with a particular set of vitamins ;mostly vitamins K and A. Vitamin K helps to stop the bloody stool. Vitamin A helps in healing. Vitamin B9 which is folic acid serves as nutrient to the occyst thereby increasing the spread of coccidiosis. It can never help a case of coccidiosis. 99% of multivitamins in the market contains folic acid(Vitamin B9). Hence, it is not advisable to mix anti cocci/coccidistats with multivitamins. Thank you

Thanks you very much sir I would change there feed from animal care to hybrid tomorrow morning, and a vet prescribed cocci mix for me to buy which I got I don't know how effective it is though. This my first time of keeping broilers this much

Mr Noel .. So far today .. we have increase our feeding from 1third bags to 3third bags ... my 400 layers fed on half bag grower and my turkey and broilers ate almost 1bag which I can see they feel satisfied .. by tonight we'll be feeding the same quantity which gives us abt 3 bags more... thanks for your advice ... for the miller.. there's one around... can you help me with the necessary details.. vaccination for layers .... my email is info@bossomfarms.com ... you're doing a great job sir.. I was told that the two drugs should not be mixed. Prior to Saturday, I ve used emberzyne Forte +multivitamin for brown without success instead the brown poos occuranace kept increasing... Well, I gave them Clean water on Sunday, administer liver tonic on Monday as well as today, guess what:they picked up, their stool is returning to normal because as at now I hardly sees the watery brown stool....

it seems you don't understand what I mean sir. Enrofloxacin based drugs is not compatible with tetracycline family which we all know but not all manufacturers state that. That is not even the case... My point is you don't mix multivitamins that contains Vitamin B especially B9 ...even B1 and anti cocci drugs. Did you know, its not advisable to combine multivitamins and antibiotics for therapeutic purpose because multivitamins tend to reduce the action of antibiotics? New things evolve everyday but I believe all these may not be new. Thanks

Thank God your birds are OK now but let me point out something..... Brown poo is not always coccidiosis and let's mind how we use cocci drugs because from my observation they tend to retard growth a little especially sulpha based ones though i may not be right about this. Ionophores works better. They serve as growth promoters too

Really brown poo may not be cocci all the time but what are other signs u noticed before treatment and for now how are ur birds doing, what's their responsiveness to feeding
Just like in human too much consumption of a particular drug with interval may result to slow response of such drug to disease cure
My advice is watch their response to feed and water for the next 5 days if their are very active then the system is better now and from what u said after using Emberzyne forte for 3 days u gave clean water and liver boaster things cleared can't u see that ur treatment has effect if u treat malaria for 5 days and take clean water and multivte on the 8 day wouldn't it be that ur treatment worked?
