Thanks for doing so wink.

But why is it that ii don't like this man, am i the only one in this boat huh

While some worship him as if he is a god
Politics is a game of numbers. Tinubu and the north showed proved that. However Tinubu can't push out a majority President like he and the north pushed out a minority President. Tinubu is now very confused because his relevance has dwindled. I am sure after 2019, the name Tinubu would have been expunged.

Tinubu is bouncing back using Ondo elections.

We would shock you soon. This time 2018, there would be no more APC or PDP. Quote me.
pls tell us how he is going to do that..and if mimiko's candidate win pls don't attribute it to the hand and might of tinubu o...its high time we stopped giving people underserved glory.

Bros, it is either you have not been following Ondo politics or you are not anywhere close to the state.

I totally agree with this write up. This was my point when I was discussing with friends last weekend on this issue.
But one more thing, I am very sure he looked forward to being the BOT chairman of APC, this would have gone a long way
to add to his powers.

I realized Atiku also indicated interest for the same position then.
Who is currently the BOT chairman of APC?
Where has Atiku been, little is really heard of him lately. E be like say that man na spoiler role hin dey do for APC.

I really want to see how Jagaban will get off this Northern net!

Are you saying Tinubu is given undue glory?

Ask Buhari and Mimiko...

Like I wrote earlier, we would shock you all. Tinubu is coming back with a greater force.

Intelligent writeup
@op,u made clearpoints without villifying the jagaban.
Personally i think that he made a mistake(not his alignment with the north) by having somuch faith in buhari, as a master in the craft of politics, and a righthand man of mko abiola,he should have known beta.

But all thesame i hope he bounces back and be more tactical this time.

No spoon is long enough to dine with the devil, history is been recycled and people will never learn.
Buhari's 2003, 2007, and 2011 electoral defeats taught lessons... Buhari despite been an influential figure from the North didnt come close to victory in the various poles, until in the 2015 elections ( the Yorubas ) Tinubu, Obasanjo, Amaechi etc threw their weight behind him to ensure his victory.

Is the Northern influence in politics over-rated??

Can the a Northerner succeed to the highest position without the support of any group from the South??
The real question is..can the South stay united to the point of not having a fraction of it support the North? The answer is NO!! The seeds of discord sown in 2015 will come back to haunt Tinubu and his allies as nothing will make the SS/SE stay on the same page with the SW.

Bola Tinubu the political stool that Buhari stepped on to the presidency. Tinubu the errand boy.

you very right but come to think of it who he is tye best political minded person we have in nigeria, he would have contested for presidency but no he dint cos it will drag him down he would have contested for party chairman but no he dint cos it will drag him down look at what bode George is passing tru now imagine him contesting with agbaje. tinubu is a political tactician and he plays it well. politicians dont retire dey slow down... and thats what is happening...

I don't know why yorubas will never learn, it beats me how they go about beating their chests shouting 'Sophistication' while everything is pointing to the contrary.

Benjamin Adekunle took his hatred for Igbos to another level during the civil war when he went about shooting women and children at the outskirts of Biafra while the hausa/fulani were watching. After using him, they disgraced him out of the army without any benefits such that he was looking for small contracts to feed himself before he died. At some point, his son was begging for donations to be made to take him to just Ghana for treatment. We are not even talking of taking him to the USA, Germany or UK oo, just to ordinary Ghana that we can trek into he could not afford it.

Obafemi Awolowo was also used by the hausa/fulani to wage the war against Igbos were he suggested that Biafran children be starved which lead to the death of so many. Awolowo was hoping that the hausa/fulani would compensate him by supporting him to become president but it only turned out he had been used and dumped. The northerners threw all their support behind their son Shagari and Awolowo was never president. As though this was not enough, Babangida was about to arrest Awolowo(which would have been the second time the northerners would be arresting him if it had happened) and to avoid this disgrace, Awolowo had to commit suicide by drinking a posionous substance.

Abiola the yoruba aere onakankanfo thought that he had the north all behind him only for them to cancel his electoral victory and throw him in prison. The hausa/fulani still went ahead to serve him a very special tea which he drank and died. They went a step further by dispatching his wife Kudirat to join him in eternity.

This brings us down to Bola Ahmed Tinubu aka BAT- jagajaga borgu. Like FFK said, Buhari is the spirit clearly behind Tinubu's woes. The hausa/fulani are out to destroy Tinubu and reduce him to one of those agberos running around Lagos shouting 'owomida' at the top of their voices. Again, another yoruba leader has been used and is being dumped. Tinubu is now sounding so humble to avoid the fulani's koboko.
When ur people supported Obasanjo at expense of ur war Lord ikemba what did u gain from it. Instead ur two illustrious governors sent to prison while one was feign woman to escape Justice
