You mean corruption and ogogoro walked out of Nigeria. Its unfortunate Buhari lack the bite people are touting in Nigeria. He was just enjoying what General Idiagbon have created. He is a coward leader of cowardly almajeri North. Mine be say Yorubas have sacrificed too much for a begotten hopeless country like Nigeria. Yorubas must start working out the calculus and stop fooling themselves about "it will get better". You have sacrificed people resources and time and effort only for parasitic north to usurp it to marry many wives and produce usely almajeri children that are vermins and snakes that only exist for two things Islam and murder which has benefited no one in this country. Watch out for Saudi Arabia they are the sponsor of this evil compatriot and the financier of Boko haram.

The NJC RECOMMENDED THE PROSECUTION OF A JUDGE JUST LAST WEEK!!! HABA!!! OF COURSE YOU ARE JUST MAKING ONLINE NOISE.AFTER ARRESTING THYE JUDGES WILL THE DSS TRY THEM THEMSELVES? SHEBI THEY WILL STILL BRING THEM TO COURT TO BE TRIED BY "CORRUPT" JUDGES?
COMMON SENSE IS TRULY NOT COMMON.NOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THESE JUDGES ARE GRANTED BAIL AND THEY RETURN TO THEIR DUTY POSTS TO PRESIDE OVER CASES INSTITUTED BY THE DSS? HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT OF THAT? THE DSS SHOULD HAVE WAITED FOR THE NJC BEFORE MOVING AGAINST ANY JUDGE.THEY WILL SURELY REGRET IT.
It does look like your were born yesterday,The NJC has been suspending, axing, retiring corruption judges without prosecution as early as 1980s beside i dont think they will return to their post and i am quite sure the remaining judges will think twice before collecting bribes

No hard evidence? Really? Come on. There is lot's of it. DSS has proof, according to them, of even instances where a judge was caught receiving a gift i a store, and others who traveled out to receive theirs. What you must understand that the recovered monies are not the evidence per se, they are the by product. DSS had other evidence of wrongdoing, which led to the raids, and this evidence is what would have been used to obtain search warrants

BTW keeping such large sums of money at home is money laundering. And it is most certainly a crime.
ENOUGH OF THESE STORIES.THEY WSHOULD QUICKLY GET TO THE COURTS AND STOP ALL THIS MEDIA TRIALS.BTW HAS ANY OF YOUR PROPAGANDA MEDIA OUTLETS TOLD YOU IT IS IN POSSESSION OF ANY VIDEO OR HARD DOCUMENTS LINKING AMNY JUDGE TO ANY FRAUD?

YOU REALLY BELEIVE THE DSS HAS A VIDEO AND HAS NOT RELEASED ALL THIS WHILE!! HABA YOU SHOULD BE SMARTER THAN THIS.ANYWAY THEY SHOULD TAKE THEM TO COURT AND LETS GET ON WITH THE TRIAL.

It is not the job of the NJC to prosecute any judge. If any Judge is suspended by the NJC then the police ,DSS,EFCC or any other bodoews can now move in to prosecute. The NJC can only recommend prosecution. It does not prosecute anyone.

But after all said and done, the people arrested will still be tried by the members of the NJC.So what exactly did the DSS set out to achieve since the DSS does not have the powers to try anyone ?

cheesy
But the fact remains that after circumventing the NJC to go after these judges, the DSS would swallow its vomit to go back to members of these council to preside over these trials? except the DSS simply wants to embarrass these judges,it would have achieved nothing!!

The NJC cannot prosecute anyone just like the DSS cannot try anyone.Eveyone in a democracy has its own role.No matter what Buhari does he would still not have the powers to try anyone. He would still come back to the same judiciary for trial.

I keep saying it that the Nigerian judicial system is the back bone of corruption.... Not until something is done, the Nigerian political office holders will be the gainer of the day.
Let wailers continue wailing.CHANGE is not just by mouth,it must be seen and this is the begining. Before this govt came in i remember most of the people wailing now were among us praying for a corrupt free Nigeria but now because of sentiments they are criticising the only Regime that is bold enough to attempt to nail Corruption so that the whole Nigerian citizens can benefit from our resources and not just a few opportuned to be in Government.PMB have been crying loud ever since that judges are working against his motive but this so called NJC have refused to call its members to order because they are all highly corrupt too. They collect huge bribes and start reframing our constitution to give backings to exposed looters.Carry on PMB.

it has never been the job of judges to arraign anyone. It is the job of the DPP to arraign anyone and that is supposed to be within 48 hours of arrest

It must be distressing for the CJN because his cabal of corrupt judges who do his dirty jobs has been busted. I am sure he is looking for where to hide his own share of the bribes. Buhari should just concentrate on the extra ordinary corruption in the supreme court and watch how everybody will be whipped into line in all arms of government. It should not be difficult to monitor the lifestyles of 15 supreme court judges and their families. Extraordinary situations call for extraordinary measures. If the supreme court judges know they cannot collect bribes it will be difficult for them to condone corruption in any other part of Nigerian society. If ngwuta and okoro are successfully convicted then truly change has begun in nigeria

The whole judicial bribery and corruption thing is a racket that's been going on for decades so the CJ acting clueless is shameless and insulting.

Fact is, they are all part of the game, they know who is collecting what from who and many people beyond the bribed judge gets paid all the way to the leadership of NBA and the CJ hence always looking the other way and refusing to sanction sack corrupt judges.

Without the British judicial and law enforcement institutions, Ibori won't be in Jail today because the same corrupt judges practically gave the judiciary to Ibori to be his own judge and court. Ibori was calling the shots and delivering his own get out of jail judgement.

This judicial sanitation exercise is the best thing ever in the history of Nigeria.
