If i understand your meaning of "black" - which i take to mean mahogany, obsidian or other similar dark skin tone- then no, not all kenyans are the same. And if you mean the racial sense of the word - taken to mean person of African descent - then yes, all african kenyans are blacks as well. And yes Kenya has several non African descent minorities such as Desis(people with origins in South asian sub continent ), whites(i have met very very few) and arabo-Swahili groups with very mixed parentage ( i have lived in Mombasa ) who predate even Kenya as an entity. All of them are kenyans.

The different groups that make up Kenya / kenyans are the descendants of various groups, that have difference in phenotype as well as genotype (physical and genetic make up) hence the different shades of skin color that black kenyan people come in. You folks see kenyan runners winning races and say oh! see these " "black" people o running like gazelles. Little do they know they overwhelmingly come from one ethnicity in the country. Indeed they happen to be quite dark and lanky and we celebrate them because they are us.
I say this because i have physically observed alot of people from 9ja do this and i immediately register that you folks dislike darker skinned africans and are inclined to diminish their worth because you are just projecting passed down prejudices. Change this dirty mindset, please.

O the side of ethnic makeup of Kenya, you have it mostly right. Bantus, nilotes and cushites are the three main African races present in Kenya.You did not factor centuries of admixtures into your thinking, though. You have explicitly stated that black and bantu are mutually exclusive, by saying zimbos, angolans, rwandans, south africans etc cannot be black because they are predominantly bantu countries . No brother, no need to get a drink over my above statement. I am sorry that you have taken my statement out of context.
I by referring to the bantus not being "black", I was of course referring to their complexion, not their race. Perhaps the most appropriate word here should have been "dark" and not black.
Some Nigerians have this false assumption that Kenyans are generally dark skinned, and therefore, people like prettiboi1989 get amazed whenever they see a light complexioned Kenyan, like that lady above.
It was that false assumption that I was trying to challenge.

I am also sorry that I forgot to include the fact that many of these communities have intermarried with each other. Therefore that belief that the people of Kenya are dark-skinned is false.

The term "bantu" is a linguistic identifier not a racial one. Just the same way Germanic peoples includes english, german, dutch, danes, swedes etc Bantu includes groups from Cameroon to Kenya and all countries to the south of an imaginary line between those two countries. Take out a map of Africa and familiarize yourself with africa and its people. Also, there are very many dark skinned bantus as well as light skinned ones and all shades in between. There is no one typical bantu look or shade of skin colour.
