Who told you that Edo state election was rigged? U just talked like one of those PDP supporters grin. Bt please don't be bias in whatever u are saying.[ angry grin angryquote author=divide9ja post=50080322]Why is it that all this arresting is against those who opposed the dullard?

Edo state Elections we all know was rigged.
They would not let people see the countings.

APC won a senate seat in Imo that we all know will never vote APC.

Buhari is going round challenging all the PDP people voted in.

Now he is arresting anybody that may not line up with him.

Buhari is the worst thing to happen to democracy in Nigeria

“A corrupt judge is more harmful to the society than a man who runs amok with a dagger in a crowded street. The latter can be restrained physically. But a corrupt judge deliberately destroys the moral foundation of society and causes incalculable distress to individuals through abusing his office while still being referred to as honourable.”

You must be talking about the democracy in your village because even in America where we borrowed democracy from, they arrest and lock up corrupt judges everyday..

Beats me why you people defend and support corruption when in fact you as a Nigeria should be supportive because it's your moral and civic obligation.
Who are you? this your case is different....

And GMB hasn't told us names of the SAINTS that financed his election. Another exercise in futility. We have recovered billions from "looters" but won't publish their names. 2 years gone and there is no conviction. Staccato manner govt!!

It seems Buhari got more popular with this judges arrest... He should keep the spirit high
You are getting the picture ,and by the time the judges start making confessional statements indicting popular politicians and when those politicians started getting arrested , you will then notice where the and at who all this plan is targeted. This is the second phase of a bigger plan and it has nothing to do with corruption but the battle for 2019 with the fight against corruption as an excuse .

Can any wailer explain how this happened?

Those defending these corrupt judicial officers are a complete joke. The problem with Nigeria lies with its people and not its leaders
They can't and they won't remember the retirement pension scam too? Perpetrator granted bail for 700M while he stole about 2 trillion

Finally.

Helen Ogunleye was the last piece missing, and now game on.

Helen Ogunleye will sing like a Canary to save herself, and all these Judges will be thrown under the bus so fast, it will be like an hungry man swallowing a morsel of Poundo Yam with Vegetable Soup.

What the Government needs to do now, is cut a deal with Helen Ogunleye, granting her some immunity of sort to spill all the secrets of the Courts, and how all illegal dealings are done, which is not limited to JUDGEMENT FOR SELL to the highest bidders only.

Nigerians complain of Power Supply, and that is why Buhari should re-visit the MIKANO sharing of Generators worth Millions of Naira each,to High Court Judges in Nigeria as a gift under Goodluck Jonathan to use at their homes.

Judges are not even suppose to accept gifts.

Since the sharing of those Generators, there have been an effort to sabotage Nigeria's power supply, by agents of Mikano Generators, and Judges have been bought already just incase people decide to pursue a legal redress.

Something tells me Governor Wike's wife who is also a Judge, will soon be getting a visit from the DSS soon, as there is no way she could not have been a GO BETWEEN for her husband, and those he paid for the Judgement to make him remain as the Governor of Rivers State.

Our Judiciary is very corrupt, and it needs to be cleaned, sanitized and made to be impartial to everybody.
@the bolded, you just have to find a way to sell this trash that you wrote by Calling the name of Goodluck Jonathan?

One thing I like about we Yoruba's is that we never encourage corruption to the extent of supporting a thief. It's a dent on a family name when a member of a family is accused of robbery, kidnapping or corruption. That is why when obasanjo put some Yoruba men accused of embezzling govt funds in prison, the Yoruba never took offence. How could some people be embezzling billions and majority will be wallowing in poverty. Let us be united in the fight against corruption. Those that were accused should be brought to justice without fear or favour be it southerner or westerner.
....Story for the press!!....but you all support tinubu, fashola and co each time their names are mentioned for corruption..

No matter what happened, the head of the DSS doesn't have the power to order for the arrest of the supreme court judge, without arrest warrant. Besides, the supreme court judge is equal to the Executive, because they are one of the 3 organs of the government.
Moreover, the said DSS is not even recognised by Nigerian constitution and not to talk of having the impetus of arresting the supreme Chief Judges? The legal authentic name is SSS (and not DSS) and the use of the name Department of State Services (DSS) by the State Security Service (SSS) is illegal and a violation of the Nigeria’s National Security
Agencies Act.
Moreover, we have 3 Organs of Government, and they're: Executive, Judiciary and the Legislature. The Judges are part of the Government as the court system and judges are considered collectively, the judicial branch of government. Can the said DSS arrest President Buhari ,without arrest warrant? Then why is the executive trying to destroy another organ of the government?
The DSS needs to be arrested and prosecuted.

Finally, Buhari said, "corruption is our target, not the Judiciary." yet Buhari hired Judges to prevent Nigerians from seeing his certificate. If Buhari is a saint as he claimed , who paid the 13 SANS he hired to stop Nigerians from seeing his certificate he claimed he had? This is nothing but HYPOCRISY.
If the news was Fashola arrested for stashing millions of dollars at home will that be okay? Will you care whether it was police or civil defence or FRSC that carried out the arrest? Will it be an issue if his doors was broken down if he refused to open it? Will you care about the time whether it was 3 am the search on his residence was conducted?

To me ,this is just a distraction from the main issues, there is 100℅ corruption in every single arm of the government, and if one should be purged ,so must all of them.

Am not carried away one bit,by all this.Senators and reps are still getting paid for doing nothing, law enforcement officers still harass people for bribes, customs still cut deals with importers, immigrations still collect money before passports are stamped etc.

When we see true fights against corruption , we will know.
The civil service forms the larger part of corruption in the country. I am hopeful the searchlight will soon be beamed onto that sector. The judiciary that will do the sentencing is undergoing some purge.

No matter who the person might be I don't really care. Your media judgement without providing any evidence is quite alarming. There was no invitation from the SS and suddenly came at night to kidnap people.Did you see the money? If what they did was right they won't be released by now. The world is watching Nigeria and this government.

Err, you are very wrong. And you seem not to get the gist, all due to your futile attempt at making everyone believe the the contrary. So I put these to you:

*How has the Yorubas supported Fásholá? Matter of fact, they are a little disappointed he had to be amongst the ministerial nominees when they were announced.

*Who has recently been in the forefront of pleading with Yorubas to support Tínubú? Oh yes, Fáyòsé the adopted son of one other ethnicity.

Believe me, if incontrovertible evidences of wrongdoing are pulled up against BAT today, it is OYO for him. To the sincere and realist, if you do the crime, then by all means get ready to do the time. Humanity first. To hell will ethnicity or religion.
