It is just an issue of party affiliation. if you dont encourage it why is the godfather here richer than some states? You people doing what you know best. Saying it the way it will please your ears.

One thing I like about we Yoruba's is that we never encourage corruption to the extent of supporting a thief. It's a dent on a family name when a member of a family is accused of robbery, kidnapping or corruption. That is why when obasanjo put some Yoruba men accused of embezzling govt funds in prison, the Yoruba never took offence. How could some people be embezzling billions and majority will be wallowing in poverty. Let us be united in the fight against corruption. Those that were accused should be brought to justice without fear or favour be it southerner or westerner.

Finally.

Helen Ogunleye was the last piece missing, and now game on.

Helen Ogunleye will sing like a Canary to save herself, and all these Judges will be thrown under the bus so fast, it will be like an hungry man swallowing a morsel of Poundo Yam with Vegetable Soup.

What the Government needs to do now, is cut a deal with Helen Ogunleye, granting her some immunity of sort to spill all the secrets of the Courts, and how all illegal dealings are done, which is not limited to JUDGEMENT FOR SELL to the highest bidders only.

I repent from accusing PMB on this, if all these written about these judges are true, especially

Nigerians complain of Power Supply, and that is why Buhari should re-visit the MIKANO sharing of Generators worth Millions of Naira each,to High Court Judges in Nigeria as a gift under Goodluck Jonathan to use at their homes.

Judges are not even suppose to accept gifts.

Since the sharing of those Generators, there have been an effort to sabotage Nigeria's power supply, by agents of Mikano Generators, and Judges have been bought already just incase people decide to pursue a legal redress.

Something tells me Governor Wike's wife who is also a Judge, will soon be getting a visit from the DSS soon, as there is no way she could not have been a GO BETWEEN for her husband, and those he paid for the Judgement to make him remain as the Governor of Rivers State.

Our Judiciary is very corrupt, and it needs to be cleaned, sanitized and made to be impartial to everybody.

If these judges are so unpatriotic to the extent of collecting gifts in order to sabotage our power supply, then they deserved to be hanged, more grease to your elbows MR president and his bench men DSS

It's becoming clearer that this Buhari guy (though I am not a fanatic) might be a blessing to Nigeria. Nigeria needs to be reset back to default. Criminality in every nook ,budget padding et al. Though I am Yoruba,I applaud this registrar being arrested. The only sad part is that once the suspect is from another part of Nigeria, you will see some idiots crying witch hunt.

People cry witch-hunt when the war on corruption is not wholistic, I bet you if Buhari proves to Nigerians that's he's not after his opponents, the entire Nigeria will support him, meanwhile I am with him on this cleansing of the judiciary

On this one, me i join hand with the President! It is high time we understand that we must run the type of democracy that will bring our people from poverty to prosperity. The NBA has held this country down for this long. They interpret the law to suit their interest. No country grows with the judiciary we have now.
Mr President, go on and on, spare no one even those that ran into your wagon in other to escape the dagger!

No matter what happened, the head of the DSS doesn't have the power to order for the arrest of the supreme court judge, without arrest warrant. Besides, the supreme court judge is equal to the Executive, because they are one of the 3 organs of the government.
Moreover, the said DSS is not even recognised by Nigerian constitution and not to talk of having the impetus of arresting the supreme Chief Judges? The legal authentic name is SSS (and not DSS) and the use of the name Department of State Services (DSS) by the State Security Service (SSS) is illegal and a violation of the Nigeria’s National Security
Agencies Act.
Moreover, we have 3 Organs of Government, and they're: Executive, Judiciary and the Legislature. The Judges are part of the Government as the court system and judges are considered collectively, the judicial branch of government. Can the said DSS arrest President Buhari ,without arrest warrant? Then why is the executive trying to destroy another organ of the government?
The DSS needs to be arrested and prosecuted.

Finally, Buhari said, "corruption is our target, not the Judiciary." yet Buhari hired Judges to prevent Nigerians from seeing his certificate. If Buhari is a saint as he claimed , who paid the 13 SANS he hired to stop Nigerians from seeing his certificate he claimed he had? This is nothing but HYPOCRISY.

Oh boy cleansing the system must start from a point. I think the best place to start it is the judiciary, next will be the legislative. These crooks have hindered development for years and subject the masses to unending hell

So no be politicians de choose their lawyers again na person dey pair them?

The function of registrar is to assign case to judges, most of these lawyers paved their ways to corrupt judges just to win case. A case study Ricky Tarfa, he always paid for the court registrar in other to have a particular judge assigned for him. The moment that is done, it's a done deal for his client. They go thru the registrar, that's why Helen has case to answer.

You must be talking about the democracy in your village because even in America where we borrowed democracy from, they arrest and lock up corrupt judges everyday..

Beats me why you people defend and support corruption when in fact you as a Nigeria should be supportive because it's your moral and civic obligation.

Why is it that all this arresting is against those who opposed the dullard?

Edo state Elections we all know was rigged.
They would not let people see the countings.

APC won a senate seat in Imo that we all know will never vote APC.

Buhari is going round challenging all the PDP people voted in.

Now he is arresting anybody that may not line up with him.

Buhari is the worst thing to happen to democracy in Nigeria

Who is stopping the pdp in Edo from going to court. Afterall oshiomole was rigged out by same pdp in 2007 and he went to court and got his mandate.. I didn't see where they said the person bin arrested here is a pdp member. ..
