That is the mistake a lot of you make, knowingly or unknowingly. NYSC is not compulsory and never will be. If you are going to be self employed or going into a family business or any other such ventures, do you need the certificate? The answer is no. Small multi national companies dont even ask of it.

This one doesn't know he is talking about. Don't claim you know when u don't. Senate list doesn't mean that the Senate you know is incharged of mobilization.

To all prospective 2016 Batch B corp members, the verification of schools approved senate lists has started.

After the balloting and slashing of PCM from each institution, names of the successful (or do we say lucky) candidates have been uploaded to the NYSC portal. You should check right now and know your status. If you find your name, then you're eligible for the Batch B registration!

Possibly save the page too. *winks*(the smart ones will understand why)

FG shud scrap this nonsense or make it optional. FG shud understand tHat immediately after Tertiary institution ur brain is still on fire. That one year could be very productive in research and designing a road map to success. The demerits are more than the merits. #NYSCShouldBeScrapped If only this can trend ah think FG will do something....Hash Tag ScrapNYSC. NB: By 2020 there will be a backlog of students awaiting call up by NYSC...Imagine waiting 2yrs + to be called up n one year to serve + years in University + present age. Mehn!!! This country is so F*cked.

I believe the rumoured slashing has bin cancelled. As at 2days ago I was at nysc office nd was told my set bin 2010 won't be going rather only 2009 nd 2008 will be mobilized in my institution. As of now many of us that checked our names since 12pm have successfully seen der names. Rep futo

The 2010 is year of admission with the graduation bin 2015.
