Spy360:Building stadium and winning trophies are not related Since you've completed the stadium how many trophies una don win since. Which player quality were in Leicester when they won the league last year There has been enough quality in arsenal to at least win 2 league titles in the past decade |

raumdeuter:OK lets take it slowly. Your point is case no1 rephrased... Arsenal could have still won titles despite the stadium project. Then you cited the Leicester triumph as an evidence. Next questions, 1. The Leicester success was it the normal or a once in a while event? 2. How many Leicesters are out there? Really? 3. Were Arsenal the favourites for the title before last season began? Weren't there other favourites? And how did the fovourites finish? 4. Could it be that the Leicester success was a let down to every other club in the EPL? 5. Can it be said that if Leicester failed to win the league this season, they have failed? 6. Kindly mention the quality you talked about. Make your objections at any point you please. |

Spy360:Why cant Arsenal win a league title in the last dozen yrs whether its once in a while or a regular occurence. Rich clubs have won, A club without means have won, So whats Arsenals excuse 2- What is the meaning of this question 3- Refer to 2 4- When the other big clubs let down, why isnt that Arsenal was the one to benefit from it? 5- If we call Leicester failing to defend a league failure, what do we call Arsenal failing to win once in a decade? 6- There are enough quality players in Arsenal over the course of the past decade to have won a league title |

....... [b]... Sometimes, I do wonder why this thread exists, what is the actual purpose of this thread other than trolling and mocking the players of other teams. I mean this is the Arsenal thread, a thread to talk about Arsenal and all that concerns it not to exchange words on Barber 2 Barber nonsense. Someone said there is nothing to talk about or complain or whatever, is that fellow kidding or what? .... We have Giroud to talk on, whom I think would have very useful against a team like Burnley... We hear of the toe injury that has refused to heal and we ain't worried?... ...Or the fact that Sanchez might not be at his best on Saturday due to the jet lag of traveling across continents. I hope we fans know that without him at his optimal best, we are in trouble. ... Walcott was abysmal playing for his shitty country and if he carries that form to Saturday, we would be in some trouble as His replacement Chamberlain doesn't even what to do with the ball or knows why he is even in the team... Perez is just returning from injury and as such cannot start on Saturday, which points to a mild striker crises and yet, some persons say we have no complaints or whatever... .... We have players on loan; Chambers, Campbell, Wilshere and so on, but yet we have nothing worthwhile to discuss than exchanging words with Trolls and throwing jabs on 100million went soar... .. I believe if we center our discussion on what concerns our team, this thread will move forward, instead of helping other threads reach higher pages with poor trolling skills and irrelevant comments that holds no water... .... I am tired of visiting blogs and websites that are doing what we should be doing here. ... We are fans just like them, we can do it too. We are Arsenal, COYG.... .... From a concerned Arsenal fan.... raumdeuter:Objection sir, you didn't answer any question. 1. Since Blackburn in 1995, no other team have won the league except the usuals. 2. Every other club apart from the top 4 are 'Leicesters' and should win the league too since you don't need top quality to win a league- according to you. 3. Don't even compare Arsenal with Juventus or Bayern, before 2006 they were richer than us. Our stadium project places us above them today in terms of revenue. 4. On quality, Leicester 2016 were in a better condition quality wise than Arsenal before 2015. Injuries and UCL apart, Arsenal would have won titles given the quality of our manager. We still challenged for it though and managed to finish top 4 every season against all odds. 5. Lastly, that we finished second last season is statement of intent, still against all odds- injuries. |

Liverpool $173.3m ($196.4m) Source: Deloitte and Touche http://edition.cnn.com/2005/SPORT/football/02/17/england.united/ Now lets not forget that Juventus spent several years in relegation, missed CL football and SerieA football lost value as a result of the scandal Yet Juventus are able to win league titles and still competitive in Europe till now Are you really serious with this below? 4. On quality, Leicester 2016 were in a better condition quality wise than Arsenal before 2015. Injuries and UCL apart, Arsenal would have won titles given the quality of our manager. We still challenged for it though and managed to finish top 4 every season against all odds.Leicester 2016 Schmechel, Simpson, Morgan Huth, Fuchs, Drinkwater, Kante/Amartey, Mahrez, Albrighton, Vardy, Okazaki Arsenal 2014/15 Sczezny, Debuchy, Mertersacker, Kocielny Gibbs, Arteta, Cazorla Walcott Ozil, Sanchez Giroud Which team at the time is better? or you are just trying to twist this into what favors you? I hates it wen people are arguing bout silverware ND someone use injury as excuse...... Dats y there's transfer window or check ur mode of training, medics ET al Other teams Also av injuries... Why is afc own special It's shows d team was not good enough |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Nobody: 8:10pm On Oct 13, 2016 |
sod09:Nobody is saying the teams in that period were good enough, everyone knew this, we were a selling club nurturing young and selling them once they mature. going into the season we were always written off and that points to the fact that Wenger over achieved with those players. Particularly when you look at how much some rivals have spent and the so called quality they claim to have on paper and they still find it difficult to make it to Europe. |
