You and some others don't understand what the op meant. He simply made people be aware of wrong words used commonly in Nigeria. These words sounds like it's correct and some people wouldn't know cos they are pretty used to it. If he intends writing Nigerian English then it would be more than the 5 words he listed. i still stand by my argument, the consistent use of these words will make it to be added to the dictionary or as well we create our own America have theirs so why can't we the consistent use of the word like "gonna, wanna" made it to be added to the dictionary though slang but does it matter? what we fail to understand is that no matter how we study the Queen's language we can't be as good as they will imagine a man from England wanting to be an authority in Igbo language. the earlier we develop and embrace our own linguistic the better

OP, the English Language is very dynamic. It borrows words and slangs from many other languages, depending on how popular the word is being used. I bet you, most of these words will soon be found in English dictionaries with time. Keep tap with new editions of English dictionaries.
