Chalk production is something that has been neglected but very lucerative esspecially here in
Nigeria.

Below, I will be sharing materials, equipments and proceedures involved in chalk production.

1) The plaster of paris: It is the major raw material used in chalk production. It is a white powder that when mixed with water, gives out heat and forms quick-hardening paste. It is also called the "POP".

2) Calcium Carbonate: This is mainly used in paint production and its used in chalk production for smoothening.

3) Clean Water: This defined as a universal
solvent. It is very important for mixing ingredients in chalk production.

1) Chalk Mould: It is the major equipment
used in chalk production. It is either
made of rubber or metal and this mould differs according to the number of holes.
