This Toyota corolla has to be the most vandalized car in Nigeria. Two owners on my street have reported that thieves broke in at night and made away with the window controls and brain box. In a space of a week. Why is it always this car? You rarely hear of other cars been vandalized in that manner. The only other one I can think of is lexus Rx series. Is there any way to deter this thieves? Most folks in Lagos park their cars on the street. Other cars are overlooked except this Toyota. What can be done to prevent this? |

Don't know why that car suddenly became a target to petty thieves!! Three were broken into on the same day in my church, its crazy!! I saw someone advertising a break proof protector for car windows, I guess someone have to give it a try! |

What's with the church environment? It is not conceivable that every car would be broken into. Besides it is just what it is - deterrent, not a thief-catcher. So knowing that the alarm would go off will deter both petty thieves and mischievous children. By the way, the alarm is available in my 2001 Toyota Avensis. It is called TVSS ie, Toyota Vehicle Security System. To me, that's the way to go. 1 Like |
