Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is always going to be under the spotlight; well cos he is good, plays for United, love a haircut, was bought for a world record €110 million (£89m) fee and above all he can ‘dab’.
But his performances on the pitch have not given every United cause for joy and the stats are there to show for it.
According to Opta,Pogba has the seventh highest number of failed passes for an outfield player in the Premier League this season.
Only six outfield players have misplaced more passes than Pogba’s 80 this term – Danny Drinkwater (115), Damien Delaney (99), Christian Fuchs (96), Craig Dawson (89), Matthew Lowton (85) and Sam Vokes (80 from less passes).
Additionally, Pogba’s overall passing accuracy is only the 116th best in the Premier League from players who have featured in at least four matches in 2016-17.
For good measure, the ex-Juventus star has yet to register an assist this season.
Pogba will have to conjure up some magic tricks to make us believe he is actually worth a world record €110 million (£89m) fee.
Or maybe he just needs more time…
