They didn't falsify their age, most of them graduated before the age of 30 and refused to serve and when they needed their NYSC certificate, they must have been informed that they graduated before the age of 30, so they can't be given certificate of exemption.
You don't need to falsify age to get NYSC certificate, if you're above 30 when you graduate you'd be given Certificate of Exemption.

It is the year that you graduated from school against your Date of birth that matters and not the year you registered

Don't argue what you aren't too sure off.My cousin was born in 1983,he graduated last year and his school mobilized him this year.As I speak with you ,he has finished his registration ,cos I did it for him.All he did was to fill 1986 as his birth year while doing revalidation and that settles it.I repeat,you will see peeps well over 30 serving in the same camp with you.

I normal won't comment, but I don't seem to understand why some 2.2 graduates always claim to be better than 2.1 and first class graduates. Dude accept and defend your own grade don't be claiming better than them just because you could not graduate with such grades. I believe there is a reason the grades and standards were set.

My own issue is that its only on my WAEC cert that 1988 was wrongly used as my DOB instead of my true 1989 DOB.. While doing my NYSC reg it was my true 1989 DOB that came and I did the registration.. Its till Monday I'll be able to contact my school... Though I don't have birth cert, but an Affidavit instead... Are my issues similar to yours?
