The police instead of catching and stopping thieves are out there checking papers of vehicles that are not even reported stolen, in addition to it they're collecting N20 egunje.

The road safety and VIO guys who are supposed to be checking papers and other relevant things in the car are busy doing the work of custom officers.

Now imagine lastma officers who are supposed to make sure that traffic is flowing very fine are busy checking for fire extinguisher.

Trust me, there's no hope in this country.

State Security services have two primary jobs. Just because it wasn't listed in the wiki page or wherever you got that from doesn't mean it isn't their job. Its generally known that they are supposed to do what they are doing. Here is the description of the SSS of the greatest country in the world. You too, read this:

The CIA can investigate corruption
Each State's police department can investigate corruption.
And, the USSS can investigate corruption as well.
Corruption is a crime, its not something exclusive to one body.
Imagine if a dead body found in the Oval Office. A probable case of murder.
Any of the aforementioned bodies can investigate it.
Corruption is the same. Corruption is a dead body that festers and rots a nation from the inside. Indirectly, corruption can even be a threat to the President! Imagine a case where the President is going to be impeached because of corrupt house chambers, and they vote unanimously for his impeachment because they've all been bribed. The DSS has EVERY right to continue what they are doing.

The Nigerian constitution mirrors the US government's own. In fact, our system of government is the same. I've said what I want to say, its up to you to accept it or not.
My 'facts' are on the internet for you to see. Just like the USSS, the DSS is under a homeland security department. I don't see why its so difficult for you to understand that financial crimes are also part of their responsibility. When President Nixon was involved in the midnight break-in of the Democratic Party headquarters to manipulate things to his favor, a clear case of fraud, the USSS which was responsible for protecting him also investigated the case along with other bodies.
The DSS are helping us expose corruption and you're heavily against it If the NPF that are supposed to be working alongside them refuse to do their work, that should not deter the DSS from forging on.

The rationale or lack thereof, of these people, beggars belief!

Honestly, l wish we could just gather all these people with such "criminal mentality" and put them in Sambissa forest, under She-Cow!
