I am very used to the hospital.. their custom their is to remove everything after procedure.... The doc admitted it was a mistake from him.

WTH, such mistakes!!! My palm is itching me, I want to slap somebody I hope he knelt down to apologize. What nonsense.

Her main issue is that the babies will be barely a year apart. it is well with us all

It doesn't matter, I understand she may be ashamed as per people will talk but how long will she keep considering what pple will say. Most pple have gone through this same thing and they came out even happier. I had same experience. Infact I was never ready for any of my baby's conception, but now I look back and laugh at my silly self for being angry whenever I got preggy then. WTH was I angry at? My cute prince and princesses that gives me so much joy each passing day.
Pls ooo, encourage her not to try to abort. She will definitely laugh @ last.

Ganjababe said her issue is with the one year gap. If its not affecting her health too much or threatening her life, but she still wants to abort it, dear, its her choice.

Its like you guys are not fully aware that some women TTC their second child or even third child. That is, they search high and low to carry another child. I know one sis who had a still birth after her first born. The boy was 6years plus before another child came that stayed and it was girl (what they wanted).

Another lady I know is still praying to conceive her second child many many years after her first. She wasn't ready the first few years after she had her first. I am not blaming her o. It does not happen to everybody and will not be your sister's portion even if she decides to abort this second child that came at the 'wrong' time.

As usual, I am just bringing out other perspectives.

You pple should join me see what am sawing. Everyday she unravels new things. This is the episode she played yesterday. After bringing her down she will go straight back to climb the table. It's time to remove that chair, me I can't shout. Let her not come and wound herself.

Thanks so much,,, I was so busy to come online for the first week plus I was in pain. no time at all. any breathing space from visitors like this, na to rush to bathroom to change... I use dele pad so tey I started having irritation... plus dos period I turned sitz bath to regular routine like means of breathing. and lo can suck for Africa.

It does not even occur to me to come and ask,,, all that was in my mind was to gerrout of the mess.

That thing that makes u go back to check a baby u left few seconds ago.... only to get there n b full of praises that you followed your guts...
Thats wat happend to me.

I went 2 clinic in Lagos island.... was trying 2 see a doctor i like seeing cos d man can spend 500hours on one case... very patient.
He was not on seat.
Sad i decided to just walk into the chief condultants office.
I got guts like dat....
He welcomed me n i told him my fears... he asked 4 my clinic days n said he wasn't my consultant so wouldn't teach my consultant his job...
He told me to see mine n come back if need be. He is elderly n patient.

In tears, i left to see mine next door.
The man just walked me out.
That we would see at the clinic since it was my clinic day.
Dejected with dh in tow.... i cried openly like a kid....

Few minutes later i saw my consultant fully dressed, xtra perfume, fine shoe, suit n necklace.... he was leaving d premises.... i said haaaa....temi gbami leni ( my own don be)

Somehow i decided to go see d other elderly consultant but was too emotional as i was weak n crying....
Hubby wanted to bundle to Akure immediately where he has mouth...lol 5 to 6 hours journey..... unplanned..... mbanu, i dont do imptomptu especially with travelling.

While i was getting me together, i saw a small doctor come out to say i should come....(lol at small doctor - i have sized them all up)

He led me to a consulting room n i saw my consultant there.
Thing is d man doesn't knoe my name, never seen me b4 that day.... hmmm
I sha sat down dejected.... n h said u again. I just decided not to coperate again.
I was boiling in my spirit.

That's when he went through my file n asked me wat the problem was, i said sir u have my file n called me 4 a reason. .. he then stylishly apoligized n i opened up.

Thing is 9days ago, i was at the hospital complaining that Zoey was not moving.
I did numerous scan n all looked fine....or so they said.
I asked 4 cord... n they said none round her neck....her BPP profile read 8.
Dunno if its 8/8 or 8/10.

So on this friday...21-10-2016, i complained same n was asked to do a repeat scan.
Same story... all is well. Hmmmm

The doctor set up his own scan n checked n said all looks fine. He also didnt see a cord.
I told him I wasnt convinced....
How can i be preggy n my baby just tries to move once a day....and they say its 10 movt a day.

He then said... well, she doesn't look distressed either.... n asked wat i wanted.... i said please bring my baby out... she has stayed long enough.... i have heard stories n all they will tell the mothers is they can't explain wat went wrong.

Cant suffer a loss after the years of ttc n d whole 9months.
Heck i was 39w1d according to them n 38w2d according to me.
doctor said no, i have to be 41w3days b4 they can induce.... haaaaaaaaa.
I started rebuking n rejecting the worse as i saw it coming.

He then said or will u do elective cs? And i said why not as long as she is out n alive.
Thats how i was booked.

But mama's, its not easy abeg.
Another set of crying.... what ifs started.

They wanted to admit me immediately n i refused. Told dem since it was monday i will come that morning.

Standard practise is to be on bed atleast 1night b4 and was advised to come sunday morning or wait one week.... i jumped at d Sunday morning invite n checked in.

All settling down n tests where carried out.
All came out fine.

Monday morning, i saw d consultant again n asked him if the pendiculated fibriod could be removed... he said no. Its not standard practise. I took it in good faith.

Now, why do mamas make CS sound so easy?
Jeez.... i saw hell..... i felt it all.....
People say i was wheeled in n out.... i expected that n got the shocker of my life....
Will post the conclusion if Zoey allows me tonight.... she is already calling.

my terrible experience post delivery..
I hope other mamas learn from it.

The episiotomy site was damn painful.
the second day post delivery, we took baby Omotola for immunization, I followed them,, I went to clear all the bill myself before my mum and dh came back from mosque..
I just realized that me that have been walking well found it difficult to walk smartly anymore due to pain from episiotomy site... naso all d mamas that came for visit they say diff things...,u are not strong,, stop pampering dis thing, sit very well,, rub ur bombom on chair very well.. walk straight...and all sort.. Damn!!!! the pain was just too much..

then I observed that my lochia was smelling... I was so pissed at point that I shouted my mum from d toilet and asked if dat is how it smells she said yes dat sebi I dey do menses and I was like my menses doesn't smell like dis... I changed pad every 1 hour due to d odour and it got soaked very fast..dh was also complaining dat d odour is much.. I sent my Mum air freshener to always used in d toilet...

I was doing my sitz bath religiously like 3 to 4times daily but no difference in d pain.. people keep on talking to me dat I was pretending.
day 5;:: when people started arriving for naming, I called my elder brother's wife who is a nurse to s bathroom and asked if dat is how lochia smells she answered yes.... when my elder sister came I did d same she said no that her own doesn't smell like dat.... I asked like 5 diff people lik that and they said yes ...... hmmmmm

I had to put my alarm every one hour to change before the thing will ooze out...I continue bearing d pain, very sharp one... I called my doc and one of nurse and they told me I was not doing my sitz bath well......
day 7,,,, naming ceremony day. come and see me walking stylishly and people were making comments dat I ought to have been walking well. na so I went to one corner and called my doc. I asked him if he will be coming for naming as promised he said he is not dt he was busy.

I pleaded to him that am in serious pain that he should come and he asked if dia is wia to examine me and I said no problem... he came around 5 .pm.that day and examined me in my dh room. he told me to assume a lithotomy position and he asked me "did I stuck pad Inside me? i was like for what"
he requested for hand gloves and I gave Him,,he did VE for me and he saw a PAD inside me. it smells like mad that people outside were shouting and ranting waht could be smelling... and tears rolled down my eye.... In all I thank God.. I was placed on heavy antibiotics immediately... the pad has even changed color sef....

sorry for any error,,,I could not read over it again cos my lo is crying.
I thank God Almighty that I didn't come down with postpartum sepsis before it was detected and I thank God for my life

Portable4real, I tank God 4 u o. D same tin almost hapnd 2 me as a 1st time mum. U know after delivery, dey 'll stick a pad in 2 stop d blood flow b4 u wear d oda on ur pant. As a 1st time mum, I just felt it ll fall out itself. I kept changing d outer one bt dat one was inside. I kept telling my mum dat d one inside is blocking my urine bt her mind dint go dere. Almost 24hrs later I was feeling uncomfortable so I told d midwife dat d inner one is still dere o, she shouted n said I'm suppose 2 av removed it since na. I said I dint know o. She asked 4 gloves n pulled it out. It was already dried. I immediately started feeling feverish. I just tank God it dint stay longer dan dat. In my 2 subsequent deliveries, I'm always reminding d nurse if it's not yet time 2 remove d inner pad cos I can't remove it myself. Wen dey feel it has stayed long enough, like 6hrs or so, dey remove it.

By 5am the woman checked again and said i'm progressing I was like "ope o". by 7am I noticed the younger nurse went to collect my baby clothe from DH I knew I will soon be free at last. The doctor examined the other lady and said the baby is in distress and that the baby has poo so they has to wheel her to the theater, then the senior nurse examined me and said that I should follow her to d delivery room. She said if I feel any contraction I should push. I pushed for almost 30mins before baby fame flew out weighing 3kg with tear the nurse delivered his placenta immediately and repaired the tear. seeing my baby alone gave me joy. I can't thank God enough, my sincere appreciation goes to all mamas on this thread you all are sisters indeed and to all mamas on TTC thread I joined the thread in January with another moniker and here I am with my bundle of joy. I pray that God that did mine will put smiles on your faces.

Yes, that is the correct dose. Two of the blue/green tab and one omega3 tab. So in total, you are taking 3 tablets.
You take them together and that's all for the day. You shouldn't take it again

After having rice for dinner, DH said I must eat something solid so that I will have strength to push. He prepared wheat around 10pm by then the Contraction was 5 to 7mins apart. I ate the wheat in tears, by 11:30 I couldn't bear the pain any longer, we left for the hospital got to the hospital around 12:30am, I was admitted in the labour ward the nurse on duty did a VE and she said my labour is not yet established that maybe they should give me pain reliever and take me to the prenatal ward by then the pain was already intense I started to quote all the quotable from the bible. Around 1am another nurse came to examine me and said I was 4cm dilated. I started calculating another lady was also in the room we started shouting at the same time later my pain went down but she was still shouting I became the "consoler" lol. Before I knew it the pain came back and we both had the urge to poo. We started shouting grandma we want to poo. The nurse did not even answer us I told her I mean it and i'm going to poo on their bed she said I should go ahead. Poo came the younger nurse cleaned me up. At 3am I started shouting Jesus Jesus OMG it was funny, just then the senior doctor came in I didn't even look at his face I just kept on shouting. The doctor said pls reserve ur strength for pushing I asked if my noise is disturbing him. The man just smiled and sat down.

No be small thing o,...d lord was really ur muscle...

Portable4real thank God for you o. My friend had serious infection cos of this exact same issue. It was her experience that made me remember to tell them to remove mine immediatly after some hrs.
My episitomy site has refused to heal properly, some part even opened after I sneezed, I ran back to the hospital but doc checked and said I shud continue with my sitz bath that it will heal that no need to suture again. I still feel Lil burning sensation at one end Tho.

Iomoge and princesskf ur babies re cute. Ozycy I site ur Angel oo. Lol.
