If you go to IBAGWA in NSUKKA L.G.A, you will see a huge and great number of Muslims who are even bigger than the Ibagwa people. Sorry to burst your bubble, Islam is taking a great hold in Ibo land and the south as a whole. Many are converting, in fact you'll be surprised that their population are well over 1 million. I've met some Ibo Muslims who were born into Islam, especially from Imo Enugu and Ebonyi. I've met many Niger Delta Muslims, a sister from my school is from calabar and a good Muslim.

I don't seem to get it when there is light from Abakelike to Abaomege, and Uburu in ohaozara to Amenu, sometimes Amasiri, yet there won't be light at Afikpo, we see light once in a month. I'm about to create this as a topic to find out why.

Actually, abakiliki is an anglicized spelling of the actual word itself, abankelenke. If he decides to spell it as abakelike, that's probably how it is natively pronounced.

I am not religious to begin with but I can say that Christianity is closer to Igbo traditional religion than Islam is, being an Abrahamic religion and given the many similarities between Igbo TR and Hebraic tradition and customs or Judaism upon which Christianity was built. It is one of the reasons Christianity found a strong ground in Igboland and will remain so. I am not even religious to start with but if Igboland should have a religion, it should be Christianity and not Islam.
