- Regional Leader does not have so much clout beyond his control.
- No doubt, a National Leader would co-opt others including other regions to help you win your race.
- A Regional Leader would expect something as kickback but National Leader would demand that you abide by the principles of the party.
- You would perform better in your position without any teleguide from the Regional Leader.
- You would always be (summoned) in Lagos and not your primary constituency most times.
- You would find beautiful things in Lagos and may not be able to make your constituency like Lagos due to external factors.

Where was the Yola-based lawyer when the Akeredolu of our time was the Attorney General of Ondo State in the military era?
For the records, Akeredolu was the Attorney General when Onyaregbulem was the governor of this State. He retained same position during Col Fasanya era as Military Administrator. It was them, with Akeredolu as the Attorney General, that handed over to the civilian regime of Chief Adebayo Adefarati in 1999

For the records, Rotimi Akeredolu has been around for a long time
