Let's do the arithmetic, what's the percentage of the northern population to the whole entity. What's the percentage of the Senators from North to the rest? |

the Northern elites dont have A`s & first class; infact they nor sabi big big grammar; but one thing that the so called educated south with all their As;first class & big big grammar dont knw; they know it. And the thing is that " THERE IS POWER IN UNITY" & " NO EXTERNAL FORCE CAN DESTROY A HOUSE EXPECT WORKING WITH THE INNER FORCES". So is the South (SS;SE;SW) united ----- NO the North knws how to always use the SW(sorry to say that) & some greed Igbo people from SE to always dis-stabilized the unity of the Southern Nigeria; in order to always keep themselves in power. Thats wat is called POLITICAL/POWER CHESS GAME 3 Likes |

This is irresponsible journalism from Authority Newspaper! The newspaper admits that the list did not contain state of origin, yet somehow they were able to conclude that the North has 75% and some people have already started exchanging words. Why didn't they publish the List for us to make our assessments?. 1 Like |

Godgay: What!? I can't believe I read this. This will have effect on everybody, even the common man on the street. The unfortunate scenario is that the effect would be a negative one to the southerners. The only thing is that it will take time for you to realise this. Do you know what it took Obasanjo to correct this error. Even after he corrected it, he quickly created the FCC and made it law in order to avoid future re-occurrence. 2 Likes |

I don't blame the EFCC, or anyone for that matter, after all, we have federal law makers, governors and other politicians from the south; what's their job, is it not to fight for the common good of their people? They're there busy enriching themselves, while the north does whatever they deem fit. I honestly, I careless.....after all we have been told that the 5% should never expect to be treated on the same level like the 97%; this is what is playing out, but funny enough someone is even asking the president who divided the country to look into the matter.... NORTHERN AGENDA IS NO CONSPIRACY! 2 Likes |

Stelvin101: NNPC in Warri, right? Have you gone to NNPC Kano? If you have ever stayed in the north, you'd understand that northerners do not like traveling out of their place; even during NYSC days, those of my northern friends who were posted to the south relocated back to the north. Unlike you, who'd gladly go and take up a job in Kano, most northerners wouldn't gladly come and take up a job in Warri. 1 Like |

Emmysteve: Exactly. We can only make noise for some days but the north still have their way eventually. It happened during the Army, customs, immigration and Central bank recruitments. The lists were never ammended. I am deeply saddened by this. I just wish I can kill all these evil people still foiling our separation. 1 Like |

Hmm, reading through this thread really made me feel bad. Look at how backward our direction and focus is. For those blaming the government, remember we have been blaming government for a long time - long before democracy. My question is, what has the 'blames' accomplished? NOTHING. my opinion is that we thrive to do what is right in our little circles or environment and pray God helps us in our country. God Bless Nigeria! |
