Goodbye Niger Delta -niger Republic To Supply Crude Oil To Kaduna Refinery by ENDTIMEISNEAR: 2:57pm On Nov 04, 2016
Nigeria and the Republic of Niger unveiled plans that will boost the oil sector – Niger will supply crude oil to Kaduna refinery – This might not be unconnected to Nigeria’s low oil production There are indications that due to the militancy in the Niger Delta region that has reduced Nigeria’s oil production, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) unveiled plans to purchase oil from Niger Republic to Kaduna refinery. Vanguard reports that Mr. Maikanti Baru who is the group managing director of NNPC said this after a bilateral discussion with the minister of energy and oil of the Republic of Niger, Hon. Foumakoye Gado, in Abuja.
Baru said that the NNPC would partner with Niger in the area of sharing geological data to further boost the ongoing exploratory activities in the Chad Basin and Benue Trough. “There will be steering committee comprising some Ministers and a technical committee which will involve the NNPC and the Nigerien Ministry of Energy and Oil and their operators.” the Nigerien Energy Minister, Hon. Gado said his visit was to discuss issues of interest especially in the area of the oil sector with the NNPC. He said the procurement of crude oil for Kaduna refinery and its practicability was being worked out.

“One of the aims of this visit is to share geological information for us to draw the best profit out of the exploratory efforts.” Meanwhile, just a day after President Muhammadu Buhari’s meeting with Niger Delta leaders where he was presented with a 16-point demand, oil-producing communities, under the aegis of Host Communities of Nigeria, Producing Oil and Gas (HOSTCOM) have submitted 5 new additional demands.

Who cares ? Niger republic will be paid their proper dues for any oil sold, do we in the Niger Delta get our own dues ? Ordinary 13% derivation na wahala for una, to site projects and complete projects is a big problem, infrastructure is a taboo, all oil companies have their hq's in Lagos or Abuja, for them to implement ordinary M.O.U is another wahala. The Niger Delta must feed Nigeria but Nigeria doesn't want to take care of Niger delta. Nigeria can buy oil for Kaduna refinery from sambisa forest sef, we don't give a flying fúck. We shall take care of ourselves

Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) unveiled plans to purchase oil from Niger Republic to Kaduna refinery.

1. The article spells out 2 different stories, one a purchase agreement and the other to share exploration and geological data. So it is very obvious that you lack the ability to read and comprehend simple English words whic is very common with ignorant and illiterate hate peddling Igbos..

2. Oil money as revenue in Nigeria is becoming more and more irrelevant since other forms of revenue are eclipsing oil revenue and the fact that they are boycotting ND oil and instead buying from outside speaks volume.

Oil is an international commodity so they can blow up all their land and drink all their oil, who cares..

Ignores subsequent comments. Going back and forth with internet trolls and roadside Igbos is gets very nauseating..

Yes the money to pay for the crude might come from the same nigerdelta, or an agreement with Niger republic could be reached to exchange crude for refined products. Either way it will come to pass and their aint nothing you or your terrorist friends can do about it.

The intro was quite deceiving as there were no stories to back up such bogus claim in the write-up...
I don't even expect a zombie to not to be deceived by this cheap ploy.
But I challenge you to highlight the story from the context to back up your claim as you've highlighted on the bogus intro. Shalom

All these are still mere speculations...
There is no oil yet at the first place...
When you get the oil we will now know how to fund it whether by ancient means of trade by barter or with the oil money or maybe with a zombie blood.. grin

Let us not go out of context, just quote a place in the writeup where they made mention of a source of oil already in place

Does the oil source has to be in the article for the write up to be true? Just because you are behind doesn't mean the story is false.

Nigeria should move away rapidly from mono-product economy. All these quarrel over who produces oil or who owns which oil well will become a thing of the past if we do the needful.

We have an abundance of sun being very close to the equator. We should maximize this for power generation.

We shouldn't wait for the oyinbos to come and do it for us.

If that's the only area where we can pioneer technology in the world, then let's do it, instead of looking for fossil fuel up and down.
