igbo league is football competition among igbo state.this is not new ,igbo league have been in existence for many years outside Nigeria which millions of naira is been spent yearly.why can't igbos play this competition in igbo land, though there is similar competitions called December village match, which is played among villages.
this competition can be transform into biggest competition in Nigeria if igbos can invest half of what the invest outside se inside igboland.

this competition will replace village match and will be played among igbo state or territory ,which the host will be rotational among igbo state ,this will make our December and year holiday more attractive

Opr more division? Who will constitute each state team, the indegenes?

This will further poarize Igbo nation into states as indigenes might develope resentment towards other successful state teams.

Unless each state team is allowed to constitute players outside their state, then what's the point playing it against states?

I'd have been better if all Igbo states had AT LEAST one football club while making transfer of players open for all, that one is more fun and less likely to breed resentment.

Very nice idea.

Nothing is more unifying than football.

Ohanaeze Ndiigbo should look into this.

It will be organized such that there will be qualifiers between January- December.

Then the top 36 qualifiers, will battle it out at a venue in Igboland that will be rotated yearly.
Re: The Making Of Igbo League by Igboid: 10:23pm On Nov 07, 2016
The qualification matches will be zonally coordinated. Each SE state will be allocated a total of 5 qualification slots making it 25 teams representing 25 towns.
Anioma will be given 4 slots, Rivers Igbos will be given 4 slots, the Igbo communities in Cross rivers, Benue, Kogi, Akwa Ibom and Edo will then play playoff for the remaining 3 slots.
Completing it to 36 teams.

3 teams each from 3 senatorial zone of each south east ,1 each from anioma ,second team to play play off.also door is open for any igbo sub group.

state to host after state (rotational)
each hosting state to build new stadium which will sponsor and totally in control of IFA (igbo football association )
Re: The Making Of Igbo League by SGANIVA(m): 6:35pm On Dec 08, 2016
How leadership will be formed

first appoint care taker chairman before election
also each state having there own temporary leader till election.contestants of chairman of IFA to buy form(price to be agreed by committee.

every state leader to control atleast 70% of General income and remit 30 to central

how can this help us ?
it will take sports to grace loot level ,open up more cities and improve social economic well fell of the east
