My Noilers are getting on my nerves. They are 9 weeks now, and they fight a lot. Instead of eating, they just keep fighting and scattering all their food and water. Is there anything that can be done about this? It is so frustrating.

It could be inadequate availability of food.

Not the case. I was even thinking the opposite...cos there is never a time they don't have food in their feeders. I check on them every hour, and put food in their feeders whenever it is low on feed.

Thanks for this comment. I guess you know them well. Their wahala plenty...their gragra too much. lol! I like their ruggedness though.

I have a total of 102. I bought 51 first, then bought another 51 5 weeks later. So, not all are 9 weeks. The first set of 51 are 9 weeks, while the second set are 4 weeks. I am really looking at how I can sell off some now sha. They have consumed 8 bags, and they are on the 9th bag.

The number of chicks. It reminds me of someone who raised 200 white cockerels in my area though they were on free range.

Okay. Yea, it is really a lot. I am looking for ways to reduce them. They are growing everyday and getting harder to handle.

Exactly! That should be the case.

No they're not. If they were, All of AMO's Noilers would be left to free range. If you leave them to free range, they'll never attain table size at 14weeks. Mark my words.

Semi intensive method can be applied here. I will be practising that. All videos I have seen of noilers (kuroiler) everywhere from India to Kenya, Uganda etc, there are never kept indoors for their whole life.

I will be releasing mine after four or five weeks into my compound with vitalfeed finisher and formulated feed still being given to them either from a feed mill in town supplemented by fermented feeds I will be doing myself.
