Just imagine what this one is saying? If you must know, Nigerians living in the US will even prefer a refugee camp in El Paso than returning back to a Nigeria you and your principal have made unlivable for all! ![]() |

ikennaf1:Igbo leaders and other like-minds better start distancing themselves from these northerners and their anti-american foreign policy. It would be a sad thing if the US political establishment classify the rest of us as an enemy state thanks to a bunch of mentally mal-formed ghouls. I expect Okonjo iweala, Soludo, Orji uzor kalu to begin making gestures of support for our people. If not these arab dunces in power would brush everybody with the same primitive brush. |

Make life difficult in what way? Of course life could be difficult for some due to one limitation or the other and it has always been like that in any capitalist economy but majority of hard-working Nigerians in the US are doing very well and will continue to do well. Yes, some will pretend to their people at home that things are tough but it's mostly to avoid attention and the evil of some of our people. You can already see some people rejoicing that their family members will get deported Those at the risk of possible significant impact are: 1) those living in the US illegally - overstay; undocumented; and not in the process of regularization to get green card. Not that much of a big deal as Obama's administration has been relatively aggressive with deportations. 2) those coming to US to deliver anchor babies for US citizenship. Strong indications that the law will be amended this time around. The fear is that they may even backdate the law but I personally doubt that. |

Is it okay for a senior government official to make these statements? Is this the official position of the government? The Federal Government needs to discourage unguarded utterances by senior government officials especially when it is not the official position. This is foreign relations not okonjo iweala vs oshomole. It can turn around and bite you on the ass real quickly |

Good one! Meanwhile please support me by liking my short story on the link below: My people, the occurrences in our village today is not only befuddling but perplexing unbecoming. Our women have usurp the role of men in this community such that they obey the dictates of their church leaders’ way above that of their husbands and tradition. We recently declared a feast but the women boycotted it on the directives of their churches thereby rubbishing our age long tradition bestowed on us by our ancestors. …. so what shall we do? “A viper crushed beneath your foot but left alive will rear up and bite you a double dose of venom. An enemy that is left around is like a half dead viper that you nurse back to health. Time makes the venom grow stronger”. The only enemy we have in this village is the church. We had an opportunity to have dealt with them decisively last time but we played it down; today they have succeeded in truncating our festival and turned our people against us. “They call our festival fetish because of public nude dance by our young ladies but they failed to address the daily public nude displays of our ladies hinged on modern fashion”. What must we do? “You don’t waste precious time trying to steal a sheep upon the dogs that guard the flock. Aim at the shepherd, lure him away and the dogs will follow. Strike him down and the flock will scatter; then you can pick them one by one” ‘Please explain’ It is simple, let us burn down the churches and banish their leaders out of our village, then the followers will become sheep without shepherd. Oh no Ijiebor! Violence only begets violence. We will disagree to agree but never to disintegrate; I subscribe to amicable dispute resolution. https://prize.etisalat.com.ng/flash-fiction/voteall.php?id=653 |

Pidgin2:It is an AFRICAN adage that "what an elder sees while seating down, a child wont see it while climbing the tallest palm tree" THIS IS WHY TRUMP WON, are you listening? 1. Obama was weak on putting muslims in their place and everyday Americans are scared what is happening in Germany and France will get here. 2. Obama failed to listen to majority of Americans, who are opposed to immigration amnesty deal. Instead they used media proxies like CNN, MSNBC, ABC, New York Times, Huffington Post etc. trying to convince Americans that a majority of us really wanted amnesty, which is not true. 3. The Affordable Care Act, a.k.a Obama Care is killing jobs because when you work full time 40 hours a week, your company MUST provide you with that insurance by law. Small businesses could not afford it and this led to alot of par time jobs and many businesses simply went under 4. The borders were thrown wide open with no almost no consequence for crossing into the U.S. The unaccompanied kids saga, trooping in their thousands everyday, with the government helping to disperse them was seen as a threat to neutralize the demographics of the country to favor other races except the white race. That was unbearable for them. 5. The $1.7 Billion ransom payment to Iran (cash) and $150 billion given to defer their nuclear plan in the midst of economic struggles did not seat well with the Average American, still hurting from a bad economy. The 4.9% unemployment is not reality on ground. That is an average of those are currently registered as unemployed. Many have quit looking for a job and they are not part of that 4.9% 6. The big one --- HILLARY'S SCANDALS ----- the average American watched the democratic party establishment defend a corrupt candidate and this was simply unacceptable. They knew they rather have a bombastic or loquacious president than someone whose finger prints was everywhere corrupt in the dealings of global business 7. Donald Trump was seen as unfiltered, and Americans were tired of "political correctness" where the President decides not to say the obvious because he does not want to offend certain people, and then he will use words like "THIS IS NOT WHO WE ARE" TO TRY TO MAKE THEM LOOK DUMB. Americans care not people who are timid. they are respectful but when it becomes obvious you taking them for a ride, they will even up. 8. The media thought they were attacking Trump by talking about his negatives every second of the day, trying to brainwash people, and they succeeded to a larger extent, but GOD PASS THEM. With what the media did to Trump, it would have been equally hard for an Angel from heaven to win this election, so AMERICANS read thru the lines and hated the notion of being told what to do by the media 9. wikileaks exposed so much about HILLARY, and what was hidden that it was simply impossible for most voters to ignore it. 10. Lastly, that FBI decision to re open investigation, although later called up WAS THE FINAL BLOW TO HILLARY CLINTON'S CAMPAIGN. She never recovered, the DAMAGE WAS DONE! America is a nation that encourages organizations to run back ground check on people before they are given a position of responsibility, e.g. employment and all that .. so what moral justification would there be to elect a woman so corrupt? SO, that is why you have President elect Trump. THIS IS A LESSON FOR EVERY BOASTFUL OR VENGEFUL POLITICIAN... ONCE YOU ARE ELECTED, NEVER TURN YOUR BACK ON THE NEEDS OF THE VAST MAJORITY OF THE ELECTORATE. know where your bread is buttered. THE PEOPLE WHO VOTE YOU IN, CAN VOTE YOU OUT, the beauty of democracy! |

abbey621:Don't mind our people. A lot of highly educated Americans voted for Trump for one reason or the other. I know of several who voted him simply because of Obamacare which many middle-class Americans simply don't want. They want it scrapped, Hillary won't do that. The blue wall voted Trump simply because of trade/jobs - they want manufacturing back in the US and heavy tax on imported products. They were willing to bet on Trump because he connected with them during the campaigns. Only time will tell if they bet on the wrong horse. And others, especially the conservative liberals voted Trump to spite the spike in lesbian, gay, bi/trans support under Obama. Nigerians need to calm down. USA is not the monolithic empire in the order of the old Roman or British empire. This is a system. It is a well-oiled highly resilient structure with sub-groups who have survived the worst of adversities through centuries. This is no different. It is just Amercans being Americans. They voted twice for a man with a Kenyan father. Just wait for the mid-term elections and the next general election. |

Our dear APC campaigned for Change and won the election, Britons campaigned for BREXIT and won, now Americans campaigned for Change of status quo and won, then all of a sudden, the APC Change agents are now jittery of what the Change in US politics and Policy might mean for them. It means that you will have to find buyers for your crude and also find assistance within yourselves to end the war on Boko Haram. The Trump I know and love will NOT help any country fight internal wars except the terrors that threaten US only. I see massive re-construction jobs, building of inner cities and massive immigration hunts which will be spearheaded by the white supremacists lead police and custom agents of USA. Trump himself may not sanction it, but it is about to happen. The whites have taken their country back. Who ever doesnt like it, should return back and help their own country to grow. The USA you know today, is going to be like Europe. Start developing your backyard, it might be the only place you will find peace of mind going-forward. Welcome President Trump, you are human. |
