I join Nairaland in may 2015 through a friend of mine because I found the forum very interesting especially the political section.
I came to know tonyebarcanista through his lovely and intellectual write up,I so much then love to read his articles because he was full of reasoning but along the road I began to discover many bad traits in him which made to know he lacks uprightness and a line of though.
Great writers I know always stand in what they believe but in the case of tonyebarcanista its a different thing,maybe he was not as bright as I thought ,or maybe he is deliberately playing a power mover to widen his audience or maybe he posses an iota of intellectual stupidity,but one thing I know he is a talented writer who is wasting his talent.his flip flop attitude of changing goal post is second to none.He is a definition of the word "how to be useless."
Am sorry if my choice of words offend you but just know that you would have been a role model to many if only you had uphold uprightness and integrity .Thank you.

This thing to me is simple; if he says something that don't go well with your line of reasoning, say it simply. If he post fiction for facts, and you have the statistics at hand, refute him. It's simple.
You can't tell someone how to do the things he wants to do. Only thing you could do is to put forward your opinion, just as you did here. If he sides with it, good. If he won't, still good.

A brilliant person with little morals is no different from an illiterate to the society. I have also noticed same from Tonye Barcanista. A man so brilliant that I sometimes wish I had his temperament and intelligence yet so unstable like the seas.
Every body is entitled to his or her opinion so there is no onus on Tonye to support Biafra as an Ijaw man;it just might not be in his tribes interest.
