Technicals are a short term solution.

Wouldn't it be a bit huge for vehicles such as the Toyota land cruiser?

Anyway since we are on RCWS(s)! An interesting RCWS: The SROW with the Inkuzi strike weapon.
RCWS r always the best options but why dont we see them in larger numbers in technicals?

cost , maintenance , technology intensive , many not replaceable on the field etc etc.

i proposed a cheap bare minimum mechanical solution with circular and vertical traverse together with the mounting pedestal , add a simple optical gun periscope and ur done . this suggestion is for the quad 14.5mm HMG guns i posted about only .

The SROW with the Inkuzi strike weapon looks good and capable. would love to have more info about it

in the end i prefer the RCWS but somebody find me the money to buy and maintain it grin

lol why because India is very lucky to have 2 nuclear armed buddies grin grin grin grin

real reason is this repeat/ follow on order of 400 T90 is part of the original contract where the condition/commitment was to have around 1400 T90 tanks

if u look last 6 months India has been on a shopping spree for ammo , from russia israel india etc

this is not being noticed, after the surgical strikes into POK , India has adopted an Israeli type offensive on the border , and they believe Pakistan might open another front to relieve the pressure on the LOC

with this load out what will be the range and what will be it maneuverability (G limit) ?

dont take it as a negative question , just curious

i asked this because one aircraft that had crashed was found by the court of inquiry to be due to the wing tearing off during flight , the problem was identified to be the wing roots , later they had to redesign and strengthen the wing roots .

sometimes they r just bullshit. on some blogs or BBS forum

before an air craft entering production
don't do static tests? G limit test ? flying envelop test ?just like designing a toy can make add-ons anytime

do u know what static test means ? grin

what is flying envelop test ? grin

if ur an engineer or even a defense enthusiast u would not be asking me this sort of questions ?

every product is tested in laboratory under stimulated conditions and then it is tested out in real under controlled conditions which are progressively relaxed to operational conditions, even then it is impossible to identify/isolate all faults as expected due to either faulty designs or fault inducing external factors or if ur really unlucky a combination of both.

u should look at the J10 to understand why there r so many variants because faults were identified some of which had even lead to crashes.

u know so little about ur own products , because maybe u see the good side only.

prototypes or test plane is suposed to fly all flight envelop of any conditions of the plane, that's why it took many years before entering production.

"even then it is impossible to identify all faults. " Yes .Does that mean tejas may still have some faults that is not identified?and cound cause a crash

j10 has many variant to test many new structure &materials and technology.

do u mean to say
SOME PEOPLE GO MAD UNDER STRESS AND DURESS ETC ........
SO IT MEANS ALL PEOPLE WILL GO MAD UNDER STRESS AND DURESS ETC ........
SO FOR YOU ALL PEOPLE HAVE THE SAME BREAKING POINT
tongue

u should direct ur questions to CATIC why they failed to identify the problem initially at the testing stage itself and rather then bothering urself with LCA future crash. it is the failure of CATIC test team, so go bother them .
also if LCA crashes i will be asking ADA about the problem and not bother myself asking stupid questions on forums.

get ur priorities right and all this shows its a waste of time replying to u.

for other readers
F35 is suffering lots of glitches by truck loads does it mean it is the end of it , defects r rectified so that the aircraft becomes as perfect as possible , a timely fault detection is god send even at the cost of a crash provided the pilot is safe as it saves money resources etc etc.

also around 33 jf17 block 1 aircrafts which had these defect was rectified by 2015. it also slowed down the block 2 development which otherwise would have been delivered much earlier.
