My take on this issue is as follows:

1. If u are a Nigerian or African without any trace of American origin, (either present or future) nd hvnt realised up till now.. that GEJ's post concerning the U.S election is well founded nd absolutely correct, nd u are being abusive, then am sorry you are as useless as the letter "P" in the word "PHYSCO"...

2. To those who hav the locus to complain on this issue, (the Americans) I wonder where this protect will take us all to.. but I still wish ya'all a safe nd "PEACEFUL" protest.. in anticipation of a "PEACEFUL" nd quite death of ur protest....

Is there any thing like electoral college in State's elections (gubernatorial, council etc, elections) except the popular vote?

Is parliamentary system not a democracy where the party that came second in an election can form a government should the first fails to get a coalition of 50.1% Representatives?

US is a perfect democracy where different States (components of the Union) have a say on who becomes the President depending on the number Federal Constituency called electoral college.

Democracy is a numbers game. It's a winner takes all. California is 66 times bigger than Wyoming but yet gets only 18 times more electors. This means a wyoming vote is 3.67 times as much as a vote in California. Does that sound fair? Would u like your vote to be 1/4 the vote of a fellow citizen?

The electoral college system is not one man, one vote....which is the main principle of democracy .

Also, supposing say 30 republican electors went "faithless" and voted for clinton in december. Imagine the mess. I'm sure you know electors can vote different from the popular vote.

The electoral college is a flawed system and is not really democracy.
