“If you want to fight corruption, should it be with Jonathan alone? Is Jonathan the originator of corruption in Nigeria? Corruption has been in Nigeria before now.

And if people are to be probed, like what happened in Ghana, all the former Heads of State should be probed. If they want to probe corruption, it should start from Shagari’s time. Nobody is an angel.”

“Buhary, If you are fighting corruption, make it universal. If it is universal and you are dealing with Mr. B according to how you are dealing with Mr. A, nobody will complain"
Shagari time near now!..why not lord luggard regime...

It was obj's duty to probe d military, but he covered for them...
it was yaradua's duty to probe obj,but he covered for him...
it was GEJ's duty to probe yaradua, but he covered for him...
now it's buhari's duty to probe GEJ,and he is not covering for him

so what is u ppl's problem?

GEJ need to testify that he did not give directives on how the money is shared, nobody should be above the law.

Equally, Buhari need to testify why he collected SUVs from ONSA & sum of $300k.

It is only when these two happened before I can believe in fight to recover stolem, we can then move to fighting new corruption.

Let him go and testify na, shebi he was making mouth that there is nonthing like missing arms money.

Dasuki would have implicated him because he gave approval on how the monies should be disbursed.

Lawyers who has seen what's on ground has advised him not to make that move else He will just implicated himself

Same way olisa metuh and obanikoro were raking but when they got to efcc and saw evidences before them, the story changed, they started falling sick, vomiting and then pleading for a bargain.
Guy cool down, the day Jonathan testifies ends the case, that is why the usual APC source don't want him to do that, Nigerians are wise, they only want to intimidate him not to but Jonathan is not a small boy. I assure you the day Jonathan is needed as a witness in court he will be there and nothing will ever Will happen to him.

There is salient part of our constitution that empower President to act without consequences. I guess that is the last joker that all these PDP want GEJ to use. Buhari, knowing that there is escape route tends to get the money.

All other former head of state kept quiet on issue of corruption in court cases but Jonathan knowingfully what he did in office went ahead to say he did not believe they could steal such amount. What a foolish statement! If he did not believe, it is logical he goes to court to clarify and besides, was it Buhari/Apc that invited him to testify?
This tribe thrive in corrupt practices
remember That "America will know if such an amount is missing" that is the more reason he is still in doubt.

Too many daft people defending the President in the write up. Can a prosecutor force a witness on the defendant? How come they making it sound like it's the present administration that wants to enlist GEJ as a defense witness?

Morons everywhere with the the worst of them those who won't read before rushing to comment here.
don't mind them cos we have many educated illitrate among the youth and that I am always sceptical about Nigeria cos if this kind of people held vital position then we will wish if our elders were still in the saddle. I don't so much place emphasis on youth taking the center stage, except we see a upright youth.

I don't really understand your comment or argument, what I am pointing out is the day Jonathan testify in court ends the masturbating toy of APC in Dasuki and corruption saga, and I am sure with his last comments and certain reactions from him he is ready and will fo that

If you follow the news well you will realize it is the same EFCC and DSS who refuse to allow Dansuki to testify.
What does that tell youhuh

Tell me how america will know how such amount given to Fayose by Obanikoro from Lagos to ekiti happened or the one stolen from my institution where I work or the one stolen in Abuja.

Has american known all the one stolen withing america? Even Goodluck was surprised in some cases hearing that such amount were misappropriated under him.

I ask, who deny receiving money from the office! Metuh, abati etc

My First comment for today. Wanna try not to come off foul now and for the rest of the day. cheesy

So, when news broke the other week Jonathan was gonna stand witness for Dasuki, I was so elated and had a mini thanksgiving here (if my memory serves me right) saying..

But now, I feel sad knowing God hasn't looked favourably on the bold portion of what I said then.. cheesy

Oh well, he made the right call on this one. Would have ended up ruining what's left of his reputation.

Good morning Nigeria. God bless Nigeria.
Omenka the great...the terrorist of the ipobs and the people who wish to see baba fail..I greet you

THE NIGERIA SOLUTION: A MIND RE-DRIVE
Dear Mr. President, I suggest we make the best use of your tenure to fix the basic FOUNDATIONAL PROBLEM to all our problems as an emerging Great Country: the AVERAGE NIGERIAN MINDSET! Here we can fix the many issues of our Country by using 'ONE STONE to kill a thousand birds'.
Nigeria was not as bad as this, we started becoming like this when we started *THINKING WRONGLY *
Let us use the MIND RE-DRIVE STRATEGY. This is by renewing the minds of Nigerians (as many are with respect to Integrity, corrupt) through an AGGRESSIVE value reorientation campaign using all forms of Public and Private Agencies and media; Tv, radio, internet Print media, even the movies, musical artistes etc.
If the President through his powers ( with our Governors and other Political office holders) together with the teeming population can reproduce an 'Integrity' mindset in the average citizen, his work will be made much more easy in fixing Nigeria, cutting down the giant tree of Nigeria problems from its MAIN ROOT.
'Get a person to think of doing a thing AND he will ACTUALLY and ENTHUSIASTICALLY do it.' Get the Nigerian person to think of doing the right thing righlty AND he will ACTUALLY and ENTHUSIASTICALLY do the right thing rightly.'
Then will we have many 'high integrity persons' almost everywhere, fixing Nigeria. This way, the 'REAL POSITIVE CHANGE' will be deeply entrenched and sustainable for future generations.
It will surely take us time and much sacrifice, but we will get there if we persist!
A tree cannot make a forest alone, BUT CAN, through reproduction. Just Imagine if every Nigerian was thinking and acting with integrity at the various levels of our society, how our Country will be, Paradise!
If we fix our 'Integrity' values as individuals and as a Country, God helping us; Nigeria will become Paradise! _St. Nom S.
Pls share till it reaches everyone, We can be Great again, even Greater than ever before!!

Even though Jona is clueless he is not that dumb to stand as a trial witness for Da$uki.

His statement is most regrettable and unfortunate.
For someone with such burden of corruption indirectly hanging on him to give out himself with such profane statement is ludicrous & lugubrious.
...and to think that GEJ was the President of Nigeria huh

I think he is as silly as Patience by making that statement to defend Dasuki.

That statement alone could result in him being invited for questioning in a normal setting but because of how ours is screwed by ethnic coloration.

The dumbo says he didn't "think Dasuki stole $2.1bn arms fund" while he was president but he's refusing to stand as a witness for Dasuki to get him off hook?

Why won't he just shut his clueless mouth and let the case progress naturally?
Coming soon: "Like Jonah, like Patience", Season 1.
