There are people in every area of Switzerland that speak English. In bigger cities nearly everyone speaks English because of business and tourism. Zurich, Geneva, Bern, and Basel are cities you should have no trouble in

So it balances out.

I like Switzerland a little more. Weather is way to cold in Canada. While driving through Switzerland, everyone absolutely needs a vignette, which can be easily purchased online https://vignetteschweiz.eu . It is required for using the highways and follow the rules. This small purchase saves from a lot of headaches.
