Yes you are right but honestly those are the lazy ones. my friend got to america in april 2015, got his green card march 2016 after marriage. makes like 200k balance yearly in nigeria and now almost N9.5m savings in his account back home. works 3 jobs. sometimes i wonder how he sleeps

Ask ur friend if truly he has green card.Why would you do three jobs if you have a green car , from my humble experience, only people with wack jobs or no papers do three JOBS. cos they are doing short hours here and there, even if you work as a security , you still cannot do three job, the vast majority of guys who do three jobs are cleaners and carers, short hours here and there.

The last job is saturday and sunday just 4hrs sir. And mind you the jobs u call wack jobs are far far better than been in a country where ppl dont get paid for labour. Trust me my friend is doing real well. Thanks for knowing too much.

Pure lie.. Most families will tell him, his life history and how inconsiderate he had been all those years of not sending money.. Only very few families will understand , that's why he camped with a friend, thinking of how to present his case to his family,also added to his stress. When family make meeting untop ya head, about ones failures, one would wish he can just disappear into thin air. Their own worse pass.

At least you will rest well.. Without hearing people and family trying to lecture you on how to succeed and how u were lazy not making good use of your stay abroad.. People are good at lecturing. If they were in your shoes with such opportunities they would have gone far.!

When one of my uncle came home 2015, he was discussing with my father, in the course of the discussion, they started asking themselves about people, old time friends and their whereabouts, my uncle started talking about people who have been in Europe b4 him and has never touched naija because of shame, because there is nothing to show for the long stay on their sojourn to greener pastures, meanwhile their other family members and friends who remained here are living large, like kings and queens.(btw. My uncle left 1993, incase u might wanna ask, he is financially ok).


And then I ask myself,

What is the need? Why leave?

If I want to leave now, na through back door visa which will cost me nothing lessthan 1.5million + my ticket and then an extra $2k which is almost a million naiara, put them together, no be almost 3mill? And these people no de hammer immediately oh, give them 5yrs up, most of them no go skul, so they keep hiding and running and wasting the better days of their youths for nothing.



Give me, 3mill + 5yrs. I might not be the richest man, but I sure will be better than u wey go abroad financially.


My cousin just came in after 3week vacation to SA. She told me of a place called "location". And the funny thing is the young boys are still trooping out on daily basis.

I call it misplaced priority.

A friend was also killed in UAE, the othe jailed in Qatar. Na my school mates oh, them no even wan make we graduate, zaaaaa. They are off, they didn't even try life after school, they didn't even hustle small for here, dem zap. And na so many of our youths de behave. Let me not talk about girls wey I know wey full dubai now, de do wetin? Ashawo, one was deported around august, empty handed, what is the gain of all the toils? Nothing.

My younger brother(in final year now) friend and course mate was deported from turkey few weeks he touched down.




Make we look b4 we leap. For every 100 successful guys wey hammer for yankee 100k dey suffer.

How come you only highlighted those that tragedy strucked. There are some that are doing fine abroad.
People must migrate, because its human nature. We all want greener pasture, and will try everything to better our lives.
There is an adage in Yoruba which says "Ise aje lo somo nu bi oko", meaning "pursuit of a better life, is why man is thrown faraway like a stone".
Within Nigeria you will find each tribe all across the country, even in remote places and you begin to wonder what could they be doing there.
So many people have travelled abroad and are successful, while some are not. We all cant stay in Nigeria, other citizens will immigrate to Nigeria, while Nigerians will emmigrate to other countries.
Life itself is a risk, and its worth taking the risk. If i give you the 3million you said, how can you assure me the the business will thrive as an entrant in this current this current economic atmosphere full of uncertainties.
Its worth a try, its left for the individual to know what to do, rather than just staying abroad, because of other people's impression. You can switch states, try something else or come back home if things are not working as planned

...and that GRACE comes from God, through "self" PRAYERS! (Not some pimpimg Pastor tricking you out of your Money! )

But God does not answer the prayer of the WICKED!

So, let all of us turn a new leaf, be honest, show love to others and eschew every wickedness, then we will see that God's Grace is truly sufficient to succeed in whatever we lay our hands on.

Let me educate you a bit,Only people with no papers can afford to work like that cos they do short hours, three jobs means three tax collection.I'm not saying he is not doing well, all Im saying is He has no green card simple.You can even look on line how long it takes to get a green card after marriage then you will either laugh at yourself or realize your friend was telling porkies.
