Several Nigerians have reacted angrily to the N200 million home severance package granted to the immediate past governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomole.

Commenting via social media, many Nigerians said Oshiomole, who asked to be referred to as Comrade Governor during his tenure, had done his state a great injustice, considering the developmental status of the state and the plight of the people presently, especially in this recession period.

Some digital natives used their posts to express their disgust at such development, with some persons describing Oshiomole as a “Come-raid” of Edo state and not a Comrade or friend of the people as he would want Nigerians to believe.
