My Honda accord 2000 v4 drinks fuel like fish...took it to a panel who checked and observed there is no catalyst converter in it..what do I do to improve fuel economy as I intend to travel with it...also my speedometer ain't working..help gurus in the house... Cc..gazzuzz, siena , honmusa, diportivo, nurey, ikenna, and all other car gurus.. |

I don't know why you are bothered if my car drinks fuel like a fish I will be happy, because fish don't drink fuel at all. As for the catalyst, you need to replace that, scan the car too and fix error codes pending. I don't know about the speedo meter, it could be due to a fault not necessarily that it is broken. Use right tyres, use recommended oil weight, revert your cooling system back to default am sure your mpg will improve then 1 Like |

captainking:The first 1 was drinking fuel like a frog, this one is drinking fuel like a fish, animals have really suffered  It has nothing to do with your catalyst. Take your vehicle to a good automotive technician, with a scan tool. 1 Like |
