The first thing you need to do is go wash the fuel filter. Mine had the same problem. Washing the filter solves it!

Kindly scan your EOD first. Please don't throw parts at it, and post the codes. I'm definite there are a lotta good folks out here that will help you.

I advise you wash your fuel filter first before scanning. You'd be surprised how much they'll quote for the scan. Scan only after you're sure your filter is not clogged.

Just heading to the mechanic now... I can't even accelerate more than 40 MPH, once I tired to accelerate more the 40 MPH, it will start jerking and some time also it won't even accelerate at all

Someone suggested the gear sensors too, so I am hoping that the mechanic will work on both gear sensors and the fuel filter

op it's good your issue has been solved, my recent experiences with an acclaimed nairaland auto expert has made me realize that sometimes the right kind of experience can surpass all the technology in the world. you'll always hear, scan scan scan, and it's a good practice, but I witnessed first hand that scanning and sticking solely to scan interpretations might not necessarily always be the best. an issue that took me 3 days with the expert, another person fixed in 2 hours with no scanning and all that.

Great minds I the house..pls my EOD gear is having a fault, it doesn't select smoothly, it delays before selecting and when I slowdown the car seizes as if am applying my breaks....please can anyone help with a possible solution? Am in Irrua in Edo state. Thanks.

if you are sure the issue is gearbox related, replace replace the gear

Most Honda gear issues are quite simple to fix until kazeem fumble the whole thing up.
