Amaechi To Igbo: Stop Lamenting, Conquer With What You Have by adebisi986(op): 7:44pm On Nov 19, 2016
ELDER statesman and first republic Minister of Aviation, Chief Mbazulike Amaechi is unhappy with Igbo for constantly bemoaning their situation in Nigeria, telling them to stop lamenting their loss of political power in the country because they could still conquer with what they have. Speaking at a political round-table organized by the Movement for Greater Anambra State, MOFGAS, in Awka, Amaechi urged them to strive to conquer economic and technical power since the hallmark of every government was to effect development to make life better for the people. Amaechi Amaechi Though Amaechi acknowledged the neglect of Igbo nation, which he said, contributed immensely towards independence and economic growth of the country, he argued that rather than bemoan their situation, Igbo people should exploit their ingenuity by using their technical and business acumen to develop their land. Giving example with the industrial town of Nnewi, the elder statesman observed that the people of the area have been investing at home, developing their town and providing employment for their people. Chairman of Presidents of Ohaneze in the Igbo –speaking states of the country, Dr. Chris Eluemuno agreed with Amaechi, insisting that Igbo did not belong to the scheme of things in Nigeria, arguing that until they established a political party that they could call their own, they would remain a toy in the hands of the rest of the people of the country. In his speech, the chairman of MOFGAS, Chief Shedrack Anakwue said the group’s desire was to seek for a new coalition that would produce a governor after the heart of the people during the next dispensation. According to him, the body is made up of committed Anambra people cutting across the 21 local government areas with a vision and desire to facilitate and engender good governance in the state. He said: “What we have in mind is a government that will be devoid of impunity, nepotism, denominational discrimination and all the divisive tendencies that are capable of tearing us apart. Rather, we desire a governor that will unite us as a people with common goal”. Also contributing, a former governorship aspirant in the state, Dr. Alex Obiogbolu said Anambra was tired of slogans, adding that ‘now is time to action’. According to him, a leader must be capable of mobilizing the people, creating jobs, judiciously mobilizing state resources and be held accountable at the end of his tenure. Governor Willie Obiano, Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige, APC chieftain, Chief George Moghalu and leader of PPA in the state, Mr. Godwin Ezeemo were represented at the ceremony, while former Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Oseloka Obaze, among others, attended.

We in MOFGAS must ensure that our social re-engineering programme in Anambra must continue and while making greater efforts in galvanizing our sister Ibo states, the programme must be all encompassing,we must hit our target of making Anambra state, the Japan of Africa, the indigenous investment of 100billion naira yearly must continue, while urging other Igbo states to connect with the investment flow.
God bless Ndigbo!!!

[size=14pt]The man is exactly right !

Igbo know that Buhari's number one priority is to enslave them in Nigeria.

Therefore, what to do is to find moderate northern statesman to align with and kick out the tyrant Buhari from power.

It is simply a game of numbers and all Igbo has to do is to use their head and stack the odds against Buhari by doing a deal with a moderate northerner and help enthrone him to kick out the murderous Buhari guy.

Your response is already laced with fear about this coming alliance.
Your empty boast will not change anything.

It is not a question of "If" Buhari will lose under such an arrangement, because he just cannot win if that arrangement is worked out.

The only question is if Igbo are even in the mood to play Nigerian politics by forging an alliance with someone from Northeast part of the country as well as work out some dedicated positions for the north central.

Leave Yoruba out of it because it is obvious you are not Yoruba.
