Jobs/career Opportunities (GEJ Vs PMB). by shedy03(m): 9:20am On Nov 20, 2016
during GEJ era, I was so comfortable with my career as an Electrical Engr in the building industry. the building industry was busy and booming, private and government projects all over.
as an electrical & mechanical(M&E) Engr, I do design drawings for buildings to be constructed in collaboration with architects. and supervise projects. I had to resign from working under an employer so I could be self employed doing my thing.
I was so comfortable until coming of PMB/APC. it is now difficult to see a single job in a month. is it only me? let's share our career experience under the 2 mentioned leadership.

It depends on the angle you view it, there is ability in disability. The way driver/passengers perceive hold up is not the same as The way Gala/Lacasera sellers view it.
The policies of PMB and his czar-esque nature might not be helping situations, especially in the private sectors, instead of recruiting unemployed youth, they started downsizing the employees but the good aspect of his administration is that the public sectors have been forced to recruit massively in a way I have never witnessed before. In the likes FIRS, Nigeria military(army, navy, air force) both the commissioned and non commissioned arms, police force, DPR, FCSC, NPower, et Al.
Although I'm currently unemployed and I'd love to benefit from the massive employment opportunities out there and I'm quite confident things will go back to normal in the private sector soonest. I believe PMB's past is haunting him and he is equally not lucky either coupled with his stringent approach to situation has equally complicates issues.
God Bless your hustle.

you are right brother buy hungry Nigerians are not patient enough to understand what the guy is trying to do. Am not ok with the job I have but I have applied to all the ministries that posted their vacancies and am positive about it. NPF is there , I did the screening and am hopeful one day I will celebrate in this regime. During GEJ's regime, I did not get any job and those who have God fathers the top got better job.
