But for FYI (for the last time) there was no such thing like "rebellion against christianity in europe in the midde age". In fact Christianity (Church of England) remains the official religion of England.

And for your information again, what ended the middle age was the separation of religion from governance and the rise of protestant movement - or if you like, rebellion against the papalcy or Catholicism.

All protestants were still Christians. So their rebellion was not against Christianity. And the seperation of the state from the church was purely a political affair and had nothing to do with "light of islam" or whatever you called it.

Historical facts prove otherwise on the contribution of science made under Islam and its transfer of knowledge to the Europeans who were wallowing in an age they term the dark ages. In this dark ages Christianity reign supreme and so also superstition and poor hygiene held sway. It was until the Europeans rebelled against Christianity did they began to free themselves from the yoke of intellectual slavery imposed on them.
