The Painfully Obvious Reason Christians Voted For Trump by benjibabs(op): 11:44pm On Nov 15, 2016
This is for those non-Christians who have been bashing Christians who voted for DJT and for Christians who are still scratching their heads wondering why any Christian would vote for him. Also, not forgetting Seun, who thought Christians voted for Trump only because of abortion. This writer couldn't have captured the reason any better.

The painfully obvious reason Christians voted for Trump (that liberals just don’t understand)

Nov. 14, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) - Since the election of Donald Trump, the level of meltdown on the Left has now reached proportions rivalling Chernobyl. University students at Cornell hosted a cry-in, meeting together to weep at the fall of Hillary Clinton. As per usual, more hate crimes were faked, and every bit of potentially racist graffiti was pounced on as evidence that Trump’s election would result in vicious race wars. Actual violence and rioting done by angry progressives has been almost completely ignored. And then, the one theme that keeps recurring on talks shows across the nation: fear. As the result of Donald Trump’s election, many people, apparently, feel as if the leadership of the country is now fundamentally opposed to them in some way, and they are scared.

Which is exactly how Christians have felt under Barack Obama for the past eight years.

Many of my non-Christian and liberal friends find it bewildering that both evangelicals and Catholics voted overwhelmingly for Donald Trump, a thrice-married casino operator infamous for his vulgar trash talk. I want to take a moment to explain to them directly why most Christians voted for him anyways. It’s simple, really: Christians voted for Donald Trump because they felt that the threat a de facto third Obama term posed to Christian communities was an existential one.

The attacks on Christians from the highest levels of government have been relentless now for nearly a decade. Obama wants to force Christian churches and schools to accept the most radical and most recent version of gender ideology, and he is willing to issue executive decrees on the issue to force the less enlightened to get in line. Christian concerns are dismissed out of hand as “transphobia.”

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton informed one audience that Christians would have to change their beliefs on some issues. And now Christians are having conversations around the dinner table about what do if the government forces curricula on them that they cannot accept, because their own government is increasingly indicating that Christian parents are too homophobic and too hateful to teach their own children. Can you understand how terrified mothers and fathers are at the prospect that those in power want to actively prevent them from passing their beliefs on to their own children?

EXCELLENTLY NARATED.

Someone asked a similar question the other day on the other thread, and here's my answer:

IMO the TRUMP win was made possible by too many factors. Here are just few of them.

1. The Democrat took the American populace for granted when they nominated Hillary right after Obama's 8-year lead. A more respectful party would not have dared a back-to-back enforcement of such two cases of radical depature from the American political norms.

2. Given the current state of the world and American economy, TRUMP was a way more sensible option for the Americans. His win (in spite of waves of media opposition) was just a matter of common sense for the average American.

3. Trump is super unpredictable, and that's the only kind of POTUS that would make Russia, North Korea and China to take quick chill. Americans know this.

4. Trump is incredibly nationalistic - which is the major quality heros are made of - but Clinton is not. Americans want a hero in the White House, so that's why they voted Trump in.

5. In their bid to uphold the rights of the minorities, the Democrats were UNKNOWINGLY repressing the rights of the mostly conservative majority. This is basically why Clinton could publicly refer to the millions of Trump supporters as a "basket of diplorables" just because they have a different view on islam and homosexuality.

6. Clinton is simply not good for America at this time - in practical terms that is - and most Americans know this.

7. While Clinton poured money into the media to manipulate public opinion, Trump was moving from one state to the other holding mega rallies and connecting with folks with word-of-mouth. At the end, Trump gained the most trust. The majority of the voting population went with him, while Clinton and her cronies got disappointed. This shows that media propaganda works only where illiterates are the majority - not in a mostly literate country, like the US

I concur! Excellently written o. p. That is the reason why Christians in masses voted for Donald Trump.
Re: The Painfully Obvious Reason Christians Voted For Trump by Amberon11:
I'll just state a few points. Trump was by light years a superior canditate.

Homosexuality: Trump is anti-gay. In fact over 60% of Republicans are anti-gay and Trump's running mate Pence is the politician who has been the most vocal against homosexuality. Christians are tired of being forced to accept this.

Security: The average American will be more safe under Trump's administration than under crooked Hilarry. Hilary plans to bring in millions of muslim refugees into USA. These refugees come with handful of problems. Europe is a case study. Countries who have let them in have been met with increased rape cases, murder, violence, stealing etc. We all know about the Belgium and Paris attacks. Americans faces another fight against terrorism if those refugees are let in.

Immigration: Trump plans to introduce proper vetting methods to prevent potential criminals, extremists and psychopaths from entering the USA. Their Mexican neighbors are known for being drug cartels and Trump plans to build that wall to prevent those criminal drug lords from entering. Trump also plans to deport about 3milliin illegal immigrants who steal jobs of bonafide citizens.

Economy/Employment : Well its no news that Trump is a billionaire. He knows wealth creation. It is already obvious that American econw will do better under his watch. He plans to bring back jobs from China. We all know that most american manufacturing companies prefer China due to a lower minimum wage and lower cost of production. I don't know how Trump will do that but many Americans trust that he will.

In general, many of their citizens feel a Clinton presidency will be no different from an Obama administration due to Clinton being the brain behind a lot of Obama's policies. They want something new for a change grin grin grin

The simple answer is they are racist idiotus .. . they supported an unrepentantd sex offender during the primary where other more decent candidates were available but because he conveyed their racist thinking they immediately jump on board and gabe him the ticket... racist scoundrels overlooked the fact that he had no qualms with abortion till his interest in the presidency.

The animals are all falling over themseleves for melania trump who is a shameless woman who peddled her body for money but treated Mischelle Obama scorn.... this hypocrites like trump for questioning Obama legitimacy to rule by raising the birthers movement... they are really deplorables and the scum of the earth vile deamons who thrive on racism who supports a sex offender just like in the bible where Juda who slept with a hooker ended up being one of Jesus ancestor.

These vile deamons are one of the reasons peace eludes the Palestines and Israeli who they expect in their idiotic beliefs to start the next world war hence their need to sustain perpetual conflict there. What moro.ns they are

Least educated states are southern Republican states and they're the poorest. You guys keep propagating falllacy. Trump won because of manufsctiring states -Rust Belt-PA,MI, OH, WI-all are affected by trade policies put forward by politicians.
Evangelicals make up 1/5 of all registred voters and mind you that Trump lost the popular vote.

@ the bold portion, that was strategic as per Trump; he concentrated on the swing states in order to win the required number of the electoral votes. Hillary could win all the popular votes she wanted, who cares. grin

thanks to the Democrats for making southern states you mentioned poor states you called them... Most southern states only became republican states in the 80s while the rust belt and the eastern states were republican states Before... like who the Democrats are they are gradually turning the rust belts into the poorest too...look at Detroit... senseless policies and restrictions by the Democrats are gradually turning the US into a third world. They are against fracking, against oil as a whole against coal and steel industries ...meanwhile they are in support of China dumping into the US products that were made using oil and coal. Under 8 years of Obama number of African Americans on social security almost doubled... in fact they encourage more able youths to log into it... like that is healthy for a country. Abeg
