I received the update too, but my fear now is I av rooted my phone. anyone with possible solution on how to permanently unroot it should share it here

You can unroot via kingroot settings as I explained on a forum post here: http://7rl.in/Gm5m6
I wrote everything based on experience so it should work fine.

Not so much on GUI but some new features came too. Like the screen recorder. Could be very helpful for tech blogging.

not yet bro..my remaining memory is not enough to download the update as I don't use a memory card...I will move my files elsewhere and download the update tonight.

OK boss. I just uprooted mine now using the same tutorial pasted up there, but am still afraid of bricking. (nb-I didn't install custom recovery on it before) .

I plan downloading the update now.
