Reno, you are always in the news stating when and how this administration goes wrong.
while I don't request (even when it is desirable) that you give the new administration useful admin tips, I least expect you to be this loud in criticizing their moves.
yes I admit that they criticized your principal, this was however during electioneering campaign to which they were contesting.
I doubt if there s a campaign going on now and even if there, is your principal contesting?

your conclusion that the finance minister having studied in lowly rated university constitutes reason we are in recession is nothing shot of hypocrisy and an attempt at re-writing history. I don't intend to make comparison of the last administration with the present but since we all know when the rain started to beat us, we shall also know when it stops.

Having said this, I am not asking you to stop criticizing them but that you do so like an ordinary citizen would to its government and not like a competitor or one preparing to compose a parallel government.

Perhaps we should put in our constitution that a Harvard or an Oxford PhD is the basic minimum to contest Nigeria's presidency.

Kemi Adeosun's performance as a finance minister is above average. Her portfolio is quite different from NOI's who, in addition to traditional role of finance minister, also controlled fiscal policy (in Jonathan administration). In Buhari administration, the fiscal policy is being driven not by the finance ministry but budget and national planning manned by Udoma. The disastrous monetary policies are championed by Emefiele ably supported by Buhari's irresponsibility. Replacing Kemi Adeosun would have no effect on both the fiscal and monetary policies. In any case, because many Nigerians are uninformed anyway, a poor economy is automatically blamed on finance minister regardless of who hold(s) portfolios that can actually tweak the economy.

Well said....so many of us just jump to conclusion base on the comic comments or post from others......i wonder if many of these commentators can define what an economy or economic is...SMH ....

Success and efficiency have very little to do with the university one graduated from.
He shows absolute loyalty to GEJ. He insists GEJ was a very successful president. Did GEJ go to Cambridge or Harvard?

Perhaps he will also tell us where Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates got their degrees from?

Reno Omokri was one of the thieving servants attached to GEJ during his presidency. He became very rich and is now based in the US living a comfortable life, continuously spewing trash about problems he helped to ferment.

There's a reason those school's products are not considered good enough by British employers. There's equally a reason most British leaders are Oxford trained. I won't say a lot about Kemi but it appears she is not allowed free hand to operate. It was alleged the permanent secretary in the ministry was never a civil servant but brought in from one of the northern states. This could be the one trusted. Judging her may be harsh in the circumstances. Even then, which school did other appointees attend? It's all a mess. And a very long way for Nigeria. #Stillgroping

Managing the resources of a small coven like ogun state is a different ball game. Kemi may have excelled as the commissioner for finance in ogun state but minister for finance in Nigeria is a different ball game.

This is not a fault of hers but that of Buhari who put square pegs on round holes.

In my opinion, she should be head of an agency within a ministry not a substantial head of a complex ministry.

Emefiele would've been sacked a long time ago if buhari had the powers. Too bad, emefieles current tenure will expire same year as buharis regime.

Vp osinbajo should step aside as head of the economic team. He is a professor of law for heavens sakes.

Most of our leaders do not give a flying fvck about Merit. They're more concerned about the "more important" businesses of nepotism and cronyism. They live and breathe this satanic worship of privilege. They're enemies of Meritocracy. The very reason Buhari sees nothing wrong with someone like himself being the President. A meritocrat would reject the offer and wouldn't be able to fathom the ridiculousness of the very idea. Their contempt for merit is very obvious.

It shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone when such a system collapses. It's built on sand, and this is reality.

What is special in being a senior manager at pricewater house coopers which is an audit and financial advisory firm? During my ACCA days,I had some of these top auditors and tax consultants from kpmg,pricewaters,mtn,deliotte,et al,lecture me. Even my papa wey work with barclays bank(uk),cbn,fbn,retired as an AGM in naija's biggest bank and has done consulting jobs for most of the top financial institutons in this country,might not even have a cv strong enough to nick that job. You're talking about someone being a senior manager at pricewaters. Mediocrity actually thrives in this country....
