In that case any cereal that doesn't need milk will do. Go to the baby food aisle of any supermarket, you'll see enough options.

I went through some of her pix.her food r mostly homemade.

I wanted easy off d shelf cereal for creche dou.
Cos i have hrd so many horror stories.even dou the creche looks quite decent.how am i sure they will warm my baby's food before giving her or make it well. They have a kitchen dou.

I heard cerelac is jus packed with sugar.dunno whether to buy nutribom or purity.

What you can do is prepare the meals so there is no need for mixing. Most fruit purees don't need mixing or warming, however they go bad faster, so that can be her midday snack. Mashed potatoes with butter needs warming but will not spoil as quickly, same with mashed beans (how about red beans and green peas boiled with some chicken and a sprinkle of cinnamon?) or mashed carrots, green peppers and fish? That's for lunch or early dinner. Keep it simple for the staff and just keep an eye on Pristine's overall development.
These issues people have with creches and schools is because of lack of adequate regulation and the fact that the Industry attracts people looking to make money first, not educators and child minders.

Try Vaseline.

Apply generous amount of Vaseline around the affected area.

Give her lots of fruits (oranges, etc and not juice) and also lots of water before and after her meals. Cut down on carbohydrates for now and give her more of vegetables and protein

Original butter if you can, or a spreadable that is based on actual butter.... ( i personally loooooove lurpark)

margarine is just hydrogenized vegetable oil! So are many other spreadables.

So personally if i dont use butter or lurpack spreadable then i use either olive oil or sunflower oil . although the taste butter gives is not there.

Rofemiguwa you can buy different Nutribom cereals rice, oat, maize, mixed cereals, Apple and banana. You will add your own baby milk cos it's not milk based. I believe you can start with cereals as it will be much easier to feed and with time, you add other food. She can eat home made meals when she's back home as it may require more time and patience to feed her that for a start. You can measure out the cereals and label, then put hot water in a flask if they don't provide in the crèche

You have to ensure all utensils used in preparation for her meals are squeaky clean and germ free. Boil water for every meal.

Give her clean boiled water as often as you can not when she demands so she isn't dehydrated, more so the weather is a bit hot .

Check her meals, it might be triggered more by what you are feeding her. Check your meals too if you are still breast feeding
Some meals even for adults take us to the loo so check the nutrition aspect.

For me, I noticed my son tends to poop after his normal bowel routine when I give milk in the morning or even mid morning milk/ribena so I have switched to afternoons.

Just check your routine with her feeding, ensure hygiene is "top notch" as well.

For the bolded, did u change brand of diaper/wipes/ introduced a new meal?

Dunasy mentioned extra precaution with hygiene. The nappy rash is most likely caused by the excessive stooling (it happens). However I will recommend you to take your LO to a GH or Federal Hospital. Because private hospitals tend to have one or 2 specialists (the owner of the clinic), with resident doctors (whom are technically "still in school", they haven't specialised) who are not as experienced and then call other specialists from time to time (that is when you hear "paeditrician comes on Wednesdays etc). You need to see a Paeditrician and you need to see one fast. Ask your Dr to write a referral to the nearest big GH (the referral will say what he suspected as diagnosis and what he has been giving for treatment). State where you live, maybe someone here can tell you the closest GH to you.

Thanks so much mama. This started when she started creche. And I've spoken to the nannies to improve hygiene around her and what she takes but since I'm not there, I can't do much.

I doubt that it's her meals, she takes what she has been taking before now. And I didn't change her diaper, it seems the rashes started because of too much wiping after pooping.

The rashes really pained me because I had a bad experience with her sister and then a pediatrician told me to stop wipes which I did and it really helped. She's almost 10 months and this is the first time she's having nappy rash. After all my wahala, na wa o.

Thanks ma. I've actually improved hygiene. The two times we've been to the hospital, we saw paediatricians. I took her to MCC at Festac both times. And that is where I've always taken her to. In fact, this last time I asked the doctor to give me something to stop it, she started speaking grammar. I think I've tried medically that's why I want to go traditional.

Well, i dont understand the contradiction you are trying to identify and frankly i cant stop you from misinterpreting my comments - which is based on your previous statement that "nobody" can take care of a child better than its mother

This is a false assumption of motherhood based on your own maternal instincts and parenting values.

Yes a majority of women will have such to varying degrees from a chilled back approach to proper paranoia but i still maintain such Insticts and values is not automatic in all women who have given birth!

But as you say let everyone hold on to her mentality.
