As a capital city/LGA,Akure is populated by many non indigenes either from the state or other tribes who do not have the sentiment of "he is our son" therefore voted neutrally unlike more local or traditional place like Owo.

Eyitayo would have performed better if not seen as Mimiko puppet. Aketi learned his lessons well and showed himself a man of his own not a Tinubu puppet as in 2012.

Good job.. Well illustrated. I feel so good after seeing the first part of sending the weak iroko thief to prison . Kuje is too good for him , Kirikiri all the way. The most useless governor ondo state ever produced.. Sugar coated lies in the first tenure, painting without repairs or building. No new employment unless you know someone. No infrastructure on ground. Akure the capital is like dirt heaped ground.. Completed arakale dual road less than 3kilometer for four years and he couldn't complete the oba ile axis for 8 years .incompetent and greedy fellow couldn't pay up the state worker. Oju ole re..
